“What strange alchemy indeed,” she muttered, before taking a sip.

This line struck me as more Luna than a lot of Luna lines on the show itself.

I do get a feeling that there is a layer of meaning that I am not getting, between the delicate descriptions of the environment of the shop and the flavors of the tea itself. Perhaps even in the mysterious OC unicorn herself, who seems to know a lot more than she lets on. But despite this, I really enjoyed the sweet and meditative atmosphere, and the picture of the Luna that you drew, which feels far more subtle and well-drawn than the average take (including the show’s!) on the regret of her past and the acceptance offered by the ponies around her.

Now this was a nice read. I love the mysticism and scene setting, the descriptions and the character interactions, just like the flavours of the tea, it blends together well.

Also, I get very strong Callahan's Place vibes, but with a unique take on the trope.

Loved this. A shop that can sell drinks based on feelings and emotion is an absolutely brilliant concept, and I love the wandering melancholy you draw on to propel the story along. Absolutely brilliant and tragically beautiful, also an excellent characterization of Luna. Fantastic work!

Would you ever consider expanding upon this brilliant premise? I want to know more about this mysterious tea shop and its owners/patrons. This story might very well have started as naught more than a writing exercise, but your skill at painting a picture is quite noticeable and you can practically smell the tea that Lu...Io is drinking.

It's rare that I see the poetic feeling of grasping at a fleeting feeling that isn't quite there within fanfiction. I feel like you've captures an epiphany of Luna's that she doesn't quite understand, but will look back on later. Good job!

I WOULD consider expanding on this premise! :D

I have a vague idea of the plot, but I need to sit down and plan out what I want the story to say. I've had quite a few people express interest in expanding this one in particular, so hopefully I can get to it this year. If/when I do, I will likely just add chapters to this story, rather than expanding it in a separate one, so hopefully that'll make it eas8er to find.
