We all have those desires we bury deep down and try to hide from the world. For Twilight Sparkle, she may have just found the answer to make one of those a reality. But, sometimes wishes have unexpected consequences.

On a stormy, overcast day, a yellow pegasus sings.
She sings for her love.
She sings for her sorrow.
She sings for the one who will never know either.

But when the mare who holds her heart overhears, will she have the strength to continue?

All her life Rainbow Dash has dreamed of one day joining the Wonderbolts, the legendary aviation team of Equestria. Now that she's finally on the verge of making the squad, a problem she never thought she'd have has reared its ugly head and destroyed her focus.

With Dash's chances of passing her final examination becoming slimmer with each passing second, will she be able to pull herself together and overcome this new challenge, or will her indecision swallow her up and put an end to her career before it's even begun?

Rainbow Dash brings along a few bottles of cider when she's meeting Fluttershy to practice and show off her new tricks. Apparently the cider has been sitting in the sun for a bit too long and provokes a strange change in Fluttershy's behavior. After a sudden revelation, both pegasi need to get their thoughts and hearts to agree, or their friendship is at risk.

Everyone needs a hero. Even heroes. Especially heroes.

After Rainbow Dash loses a wing in an accident Twilight finds herself to be the only pony capable of restoring it. But can she reconcile the month long treatment with her suppressed feelings for the pegasus?

I wanted to change a lot in this story before submitting it here, but then it took longer than expected and I had other things to take care of. So, after only the most basic revisions, here it is in all its imperfect glory. And in chapter form, too.

On Heart's and Hooves Day, the Cutie Mark Crusaders get the idea of setting up Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, convinced that the two pegasi are perfect for each other. Even if they at first swore not to attempt this, after what had happened the year before. But the CMC feel sure about it this time. No love poison to mess it up!

Twilight and Co. set out to exact revenge on Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie for their latest round of pranks. Predictably, things do not go according to plan.

Rainbow Dash struggles to figure out why Pinkie Pie keeps acting weird, and seems so happy about spending Hearts and Hooves with hanging out with her, while also puzzling over the fact that Cloud Kicker and Blossomforth seem to be going out of their way to help the two of them enjoy the day.

Cloud Kicker and Blossomforth need to have their own tags, because they're awesome characters who deserve to have more stories written about them.

Rainbow Dash isn't afraid of anything, and she has better things to do than sit around worrying about some wussy emotions. But after reading the next Daring Do novel, she suddenly finds her feelings towards her friends changing- and not in ways she's comfortable with...
