Hello everyone, just an update. · 2:39pm Mar 6th, 2017
Well, suffice it to say, my renewed effort to start updating to schedule once again didn't pan out. It was maybe a bit naive of me to try and hold myself to that, especially considering how bad my track record had been the last couple of years. Still, I felt I had to try.
At the very least, my laziness isn't all to blame this time around; I've got some bad news that I'm hesitant to share in that regard, and I've been putting off making a post about what I'm referring to. Still, I sort of feel like I can share such things here, and it really goes to show how highly I think of the my little pony community as a whole, many of you specifically, and the atmosphere here on fimfiction.
So, I'm sorry for hiding away lately.
This last summer my father was diagnosed with stage four cancer, and he recently passed away. I'm handling it well, but obviously there are a lot of changes going on right now in my family.
Well, I'm not too sure what else to say here, other than that I would really like to write again for you all. Some of the most fun I've had are moments after seeing how much these stories have been enjoyed, or times when I've worked with fellow fandom members. I'll blog about any progress or the like that's made in the future. Thanks for reading and I hope you yourself are doing well!

Allow me to send my condolences too. I lost my father to cancer nearly twenty years ago. It takes a while, but time has a way of smoothing away rough edges and pain.

Hey, I know where you're coming from, my grandmother died from cancer as well as a combination of things last year, aand my best friend's brother was killed in a car crash just last week. I'm glad to hear you're handling it well, because loss is never easy. You and my family will be in my thoughts and prayers and always feel free to shoot me a message on Discord if you'd like to talk about anything.

I am so sorry. Since most of us can not do anything other type words to you, know that if you ever need to talk to someone, I'm sure that any of us will gladly listen to any problems you have 
Though, about the writing: don't put ponies before life. We've waited this long, we can wait for quite a bit longer. Sort out your life; don't worry about us 
My condolences. I too have lost family to that accursed fiend that is cancer, so I know how difficult it can be to get your life back to into a sense of normalcy after that.
Still, if you ever need help, I'm still here. Here's hoping you can get back into the old rhythm of things.

That's rough. I've yet to experience a death in the family, but a few have been or are close to death's door. I hope you and your family have all the support you need and are staying strong.
Im very sorry to hear about your father. Cancer is not somthing I'd wish upon even my worst enemy. That said, I find that writing in my journal after /during events like this is very therapeutic. I'm not sure if that will work for you or maybe translate into a story, but maybe its worth a shot?

Aww. I'm so sorry to hear that. I've never had to deal with a death in my family so I can hardly fathom how it truly feels but know that I still feel for you nontheless. It must be hard to go on after something like that so take the time you need.

I'm sorry about your dad. I know I would be devastated if either of my parents died soon, and I'm not sure how much I would be writing either. I hope you and your family find peace, and that some new updates might be appearing soon.

Hey. I hope you come back to writing. I started reading MLM and I loved it, then I got to the part where it crossed over with ATL and I thought "well crap now I gotta go enjoy this," and I really have. They're both amazing stories, and I just realised that neither of them are finished. I hope you get back into the swing of it, and know that you're still getting new fans despite a 4 year hiatus. I believe in you you madman!
