It's been four years, man. I've learned to draw a bit better since then.
I really, really like how you've drawn the muzzle fade into the forehead and around the eyes. Gives the face a lot of depth. The eyes and horn are also spectacular.
That being said, I think the nostril's in a weird place.
Somepony needs a bunch of adorable freckles licked just to be extra-careful that one of them isn't a mistakenly-unclean spot of grape jelly.

... I think piebald is the right term? Piebald usually demands a white base with spots but we don't have horses with blue coats here in the real world.
Beautiful work - I love the eyes and face. The horn, though, seems a bit off-center to me.
