A man had all but written off humanity after retiring from military service. Precepts like Faith, Hope and Love had always been a part of his life but had fallen into shadow due to dark times. In their place, the motto from the U.S. Coast Guard "Semper Paratus" or "Always Prepared" had gotten him through difficulties many times before.

But what happens when the rough time isn't even on the same planet, let alone with other people. Will the training and constant "prepper" attitude be enough to get him through? Fighting despair, resentment, selfish ambitions and now sorcery- a man born out of chaos discovers a powerful talent where human precepts clash with Magic!

One day, when Sunset Shimmer is driving home from work, she crashes. Her car gets shattered, the other drivers are pissed, and it seems she has... memory loss? What does this mean for her future? Better yet, what does this mean for Twilight?

"Wait, I'm sorry, are you saying I'm in love with you?"

Can Sunset's memory return to her before her lover loses hope? What else has she forgotten? Will her life ever be the same again?

Apparently, science isn't exactly perfect. Even when it's done by the likes of Winston and his genetically enhanced brain. It's just my rotten luck that when it does screw up, it leaves me separated from Earth entirely and completely unable to fulfill my duties as an Overwatch member. But where I end up really did need more heroes.

First I end up having to deal with a war between humans and robots, then I get involved in alien crises just as crazy. Hmph, good for them the cavalry dropped in!

Several years later, after Twilight has become an Alicorn, the Academy of Magic and Friendship makes it's grand opening at last.

Sixteen ponies, former students of Cheerilee's class of fillies and colts, are summoned to attend the new high school on a tour. However, things turn sour quickly when the tour is taken over by a strange, black and white teddy bear, who declares that the ponies have to commit a perfect murder in order to go home.

In this edition of Dangan Ronpa, the events will stray from the canon series, but stay faithful to the character driven, dark humor style of Dangan Ronpa, so it'll be written as if it started in Equestria! No need to have played the games at all to understand the story, but it'll add to the experience if you're watching the anime/play(ed) the game.

But I Pinkie Promise that there will be NO SPOILERS of the Dangan Ronpa games.

Meet Deadpool: a mercenary, an assassin, and overall, an antihero in the Marvel Universe. He has the ability to quickly heal, thanks to some tests made from the Weapon X Program that healed his incurable cancer, but left his mental stability down the toilet. If any of you know the real Deadpool, don't worry, he's not the same silent freak played by Ryan Reynolds in the piece of s**t prequel starring Hugh Jackman as a short guy with metal claws. If you have no idea who or what is going on, please, look it up.
Meet Equestira: A magical land that hosts many mythological creatures, but mostly god horses, unicorns, pegasi, and boring horses. Everything is ruled by two god horses; Princess Sun Butt and Princess Moon Cheeks. Sun Butt rules during the day, controls the sun, protects land from monsters, indulges in male anatomy shaped fruit & cake, and abducts children... at least that's what wikipedia says. Moon Cheeks rules the night, controls the moon, plays with people in the 'apple master race', haunts children as the next Freddy Krueger, and plans how to take over the world when no one is watching. There's also six horses that act as the 'mane' stars and a bunch of other background & side characters that this Fan Base loves... like this girl that... loves... rocks. I don't get it.

Author's Note: Hey guys! This is my first story, so constructive criticism is more than welcome. I'll take this moment to say that I own nothing but my main character, the plot, and a few surprises which will appear later. All other characters and linked music are NOT mine. A word on music. At times I might offer two links to a song. The first is the OFFICIAL version, the second is the closest approximation to how I feel it is sung in the story. Just warning you, because I know some people hate covers. This story is rated teen for occasional language, implied sex, and gruesome imagery (mostly late in the story and in flashbacks). I never wanted this. All I wanted was a nice, quiet weekend away from the real world. Just me and a couple of friends out in the mountains for a few days, grilling out, camping, hunting, maybe a bit of fishing. It was going to be a nice change from the tedium of everyday life.

That was before the fall.

Now I'm trapped in a strange world filled with alien creatures, caught in the middle of a war I have no part in. And if I want any chance of getting back home in one piece, I'm going to have to choose one side and live or die by that decision.

I had hoped to get away from everything. Now I'd give anything to have it all back.
