Armies clash in Equestria over an ancient feud between two powerful races. Ajax, the last human, holds Celestia accountable for the extinction of his race. He will go to any lengths to see her brought to justice, but something darker lurks beneath the war torn surface. He is seen as one of the worst creatures to ever walk Equestria, but are humans truly damned to being monsters or are they capable of something greater.

There they meet a group of six duelists who know a thing or two about Duel Monsters that even the King of Games has never seen before. But with mysterious pasts, old rivalries, secretive wagers, and the ever-present danger of the Shadows, no friendly contest is ever as simple as it seems. This is a blatant attempt to shoehorn a complete story out of a comic I found on Deviantart that wouldn't leave my head until I fleshed it out. That comic can be found here. I promise to not use quite as many memes as the comic did. I also promise to try and make the games as interesting as I can.

While Equestria must find a way to cope with this new reality, those that are truly suffering are those closest to her. None are struggling as much as her sister, Princess Luna. Not only is she forced to handle the duties of ruling Equestria and taking care of the transition, she must also cope with the imminent death of her beloved sister.
