Im a B O X

(Probably) the only BOX you'll ever find.

T

This story is a sequel to Tragedy Is A Matter Of Perspective

The end of an Era has finally arrived.

And with such atrocities and actions, consequences are bound to show face, unforeseen ones as well. As the raging flames of ambition, which once fueled the same growth and innovation, are slowly left to be extinguished, it leaves ashes of realization in its wake.

With those remnants of a flame on the run, they hold on to one last thing in the aftermath of it all, Pride.

Pride that won’t allow, that won’t to let, even in their final moments…

United they once stood, fractured they would fall.

This is, in hindsight, a very scuffed and rough sequel story imo.
I see a lot of narratives I should improve on.
This will probably get redux of sorts when I find the time...

Chapters (1)

Despite the difference that worlds apart may show, even the great cities of different worlds share something in common.

In the advent of building diplomatic relations, a human is sent off on a journalistic mission to uncover three of the great cities of Equestria.

Although, to his surprise, six ponies would help him understand this world better than anyone else.

Is this a self-insert? I *guess* it is, but I still plan on making a decent story.
I'll deal with the sorting later, for now, Happy Holidays! :yay:

After Jason Wright's death, the only human (or creature for that matter) known to have intentionally used some form of Interdimensional Travel to arrive thereat Equestria.

Celestia immediately summoned Twilight to Canterlot for a meeting, but it wasn’t anything ordinary, as they were going to meet up in the underground tunnel system.

And that's when Twilight realized that maybe this was probably something bigger than she thought.

And once she came face to face with Celestia for that quick and civil chat, all she could think about was the likely stern talking she'd face, and moreover… What was it going to be about?

Only one thought wandered into her mind, a lost opportunity.

A non-canon sequel to Ending.

The Grim Reaper awaits your arrival, but before you'd be couriered off into your afterlife proper, there is a Captain that awaits you.

Be they good or bad, everyone eventually meets their fate in death. The Captain is one who shows that you simply cannot always have your way in wishful thinking, sometimes, one has to regret.

As an old quote from history goes, “In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.”

The same usually rings true for those who turn to evil; like those who lived a good life, sometimes in an ironic twist at play, they also find a way to live.

And although the Grim Reaper does wait on the other side, his subordinate is a courier for a courier, a Captain of Death who comes before the final say.

This is just my attempt to give certain characters a bit more depth. This will go either poorly, or reasonably well, so please bear with me.

Characters that have encountered the Captain:
The Storm King
Somber Heart (King Sombra)

Character/s currently working on:
Grogar

A changeling drone rarely ever questioned its queen’s intention or very being, the same cannot be said when the tables are turned.

Yet, Queen Chrysalis found that out the hard way when an unassuming colt asks her a naïve, yet hard-hitting question.

What is love?

Would she shrug it off with indifference, or would she presist in denying it in hate?

Happens shortly after the Canterlot Wedding.

They say cruelty is a matter of perspective...

Is it now?

Because as you know, it is hard to judge such cruelty when you've never known such kindness.

You believe the same goes for any tragedy, after all, isn't a good tragedy usually borne out of another one's cruelty?

A tragedy at play, but only until the end, and only in your view.

A story where a single human had monopolized the industry and economy of Equestria and the larger majority of Equis.

Chapters (1)

Discord had been asleep for a long time. He lived in relative seclusion with the bare minimum needed to survive.

Celestia was no different, as she too lived in relative seclusion with near-to-no magic to her name, although unlike Discord, who spent his time sleeping, she tried to reach out and make amends.

They had seen eras fall and rise and a war far more significant than those from old history. Yet there were two things that these two (former) benevolent beings unexpectedly shared with the other; it was that the world they once lived in had finally outgrown them and that they had outlived their beloved ones.

[Death is implied]

This story is a sequel to Never to be Finished

With the death of Bold Ideals, Equestria and the broader world of Equis now face a dilemma, moving forwards, what should be done?

Does a new era call for a new way of life or do we stick with tradition?

Do we implement change and bring a bit of uncertainty or stick to what has worked thus far?

What is the path to prosperity?

With the advent of Twilight's ascension as Equestria's ruler, the world would now find itself in a new setting, one that every society will go through; The equivalent to the enlightenment, the advent of revolutionary ideals.

Torn amidst foreign relations and the necessity of national stability, Solemn Vow would find himself at the helm as one of the most influential figure heads to ever grace Equis, his name receiving the same treatment as his late friend.

But as time would tell, these new times might just be Numbered Days...

This is my interpretation of what happened during the time gap between G4 and G5

Chapters (4)
T

A unicorn is found guilty of the crime of High Treason, under dubious circumstances, he is sent to be executed by firing squad, his request. His crimes were viewed as against harmony, unity, and above all, the interest of nations.

He will not bear witness to the dawn of a new horizon, but he'll witness something else; the setting of a new flame for something new. He believed he was the spark for that new flame, and when the harshest lights cast down the darkest shadows, so too do those shadows conceal many things in their darkness.

[The entire story happens after "The Final Problem."]

The cover art is by the same friend (who remains anonymous)

Speaking of which...
I'm sorry for the first couple of chapters being first-person... but the later chapters switch to a third-person pov, so there's that.

Chapters (6)
T

A sinner, having lived a life in a utopian world, now found a way to seemingly beat the nightmares, something that could answer his questions, a means to follow through with his pursuits as a person...

Yet he too must face the facts, he has lied and omitted for so long and for so much in this world, creating a false image of himself to live a life, even if it was a lie. Now he faces the consequences of his actions, and the world he would seek to escape from would try to drag him back down. Seemingly to ask for answers, naïve ones at that.
