It was a duel, a battle between two powers; sisters. One ignored and practically rejected from society, the other adored by all her subjects. This is the duel between Nightmare Moon and Princess Celestia.

As the battle rages on though and Celestia prepares to use the Elements of Harmony she hesitates. And for a brief moment she recalls how her actions turned her sister into this being, and how she had played a roll into turning Luna into that beast. That hesitation, that slip up is where Nightmare Moon takes advantage and overcomes Celestia's power.

And just as it looks like everything is over and Nightmare Moon has won, a human appears. And that human decides to challenge her to a duel.

A young Netero has entered the stage.

Sombra wasn't always a ruthless tyrant. There were many things that led to his desire for power that eventually corrupted him, turning him into the current megalomaniac he is. One of those things being a time where the ponies of the Crystal Empire were plagued by a strange malady that pervades across the entire empire. The cause unknown, and no cure that Princess Celestia or Luna could find could help Sombra's people recover from this strange illness.

It isn't until the current ruler of the Crystal Empire, Pristine Heart gives the young unicorn advice to broaden his research that the young unicorn discovers something that would not only save his people. But entirely change his life.

This story is a sequel to My Services Are a Curse?

Spike the number one assistant, has left his home. Feeling a bit lost, somewhat confident and unsure of what lies ahead the young drake begins his journey on the path to improvement. On the path to discover what he wants to do in his life aside from his services to Twilight. And as Spike goes through his travels on Equestria and beyond the young drake begins meeting ponies, griffons and other creatures across Equestria that in some way or another have a descent understanding of what he's now going through. And with each new meeting and experience Spike continues to grow.

With each meeting Spike learns something new and does his best to apply it to his new experiences. But as he continues through his journeys he never once forgets about those he left behind. They in turn will never forget about him. For they'll always be with him in heart, till the day he can return.

My father abandoned me, my mother disappeared, my sister a traitor. All I have left is the tattered remains of my honor, and the only thing keeping me going is my will.

Prince Zuko has lost his honor and is no longer sure if the path he had originally chosen to follow is the one he wants anymore. When his uncle, Dragon of the West, Iroh gives him advice the former prince travels through the streets of Ba Sing Se in an attempt to find the one that can guide him down the right path he so greatly desires.

However when Zuko meets this man, he finds the man to be in fact a spirit. A spirit that has helped countless other souls through both the spirit world and earth reach inner peace. And now the spirit has sent Zuko to Equestria to find a means of peace there. With Zuko now stuck in a world he does not understand nor care much about the exiled prince must figure out a way to return home and avoid the ponies of Equestria all while struggling with his emotional turmoil.

The question still remains though; can Zuko's indomitable will be broken with the challenges he will face in this world, or will he fight his way back home and find inner peace as well?

Time is all that can tell.

Fluttershy and Discord send each other letters. It is an asynchronous form of communication used between the two ever since they became friends. Once done writing the letter the pegasus meets with Spike and Twilight to gain the dragon's help in sending the message. Spike complies, the message is sent and everyone is happy. But when Hailstorm, finds out that the mare actually wrote a message he asks a question that confuses the mare greatly.

Spike is the only dragon in Ponyville, friend to the elements of Harmony and Twilight's number one assistant. But when he gets left behind on an important mission by Princess Celestia, the dragon begins to contemplate past events and even dares to question his services.

Flim and Flam are up to no good as usual, trying to scam ponies into buying their products they end up coming across a certain stallion on his way back from Appleloosa. Deciding to try out their new sales product on him, the two brothers stop him before he can leave the town. Pitching a moustache growth tonic sure to attract the mares, (and stallions if you're into it) they try to get the stallion to buy it. But the question he asks them was surely something they did not expect to be tossed at them.

Ideals. We've all got them. We all have them. One's we're very well unlikely willing to change for anyone, or anything. But after Starlight Glimmer's experience with Sunburst, and Twilight follows her to the past the mare refuses to listen to reason when the alicorn tries to convince her, her way of doing things is wrong. So now Starlight will have to take a look at some of the things both Twilight and Spike have seen for herself and decide, what she will do afterwards. Let's just hope she makes the right choice.

In a alternate universe where Hailstorm's curse forces him to peer into the world of Gravity Falls the human sees things- sees symbols that bother him incessantly. Unable to stand the torment his mind is taking the young adult writes said symbols on the wall, summoning a being of great power, with a desire for even greater chaos. In a strange twist of fate Hailstorm realizes his mistake and forms a deal to spare his world of the turmoil he has brought, but instead sends himself and the being known as Bill Cipher to the world of Equestria.

Now Bill Cipher is free in a different world, but must rest temporarily while he gathers the necessary ingredients to bring Equestria into ruin. It is now up to Hailstorm, and another lord of chaos to solve this problem. The only question is will they really be able to outsmart the all knowing triangle, or will they find some way to defeat this being together, with the elements of harmony and one daring pegasus?

Only time will tell.
