//------------------------------// // To Love & To Have Never Told // Story: To The Moon: Excelsior // by Black Hailstorm //------------------------------// You sit on your bottom enjoying cake in silence in your room. It had been a rather boring day what with having to help out around the city of Canterlot with those useful fingers of yours. And after a long day's work you felt the need to just simply sit in your room and relax. Looking out to the night sky, you could see the symbol of the mare on the moon. And as you ate that sweet sweet chocolate cake you couldn’t help but feel bad at not having been able to do anything the day before. The day Luna became Nightmare Moon and was banished from this world. In all honesty you yourself were still a newcomer. You knew not how you got here nor much of the equine ways. All you knew is that somehow horses here, or at least the smaller versions that called themselves ponies, were sentient. And not just any anthropomorphic horses, but there were griffons, pegasus, strong horses called earth ponies, unicorns, and winged unicorns, minotaurs, and talking cows. Chimeras and dragons, and griffons many many more. Wait you already said griffons. You shrugged, shoving another spoonful of the desert into your mouth as you stared at the night sky. Watching all the twinkling stars that oddly enough didn’t seem to have that special pizzazz that Luna had so easily demonstrated to you time and time again. A tear slowly slid down your cheek, which you strangely licked away as you wished you had told the mare sooner how you felt about her skill with the night. How you admired her great gift, and not to mention dat ass. “But alas” you sighed. “Twas too late. For Celestia had banished her sister to the moon.” And it was with a heavy heart you recalled those events. The events of Luna’s banishment. Celestia had become increasingly worried. Her sister had not spoken to her for days and you now sat with the regal booty- I mean beauty, carefully listening to what she said. “Oh Anon” the princess sighed. “I’m simply very worried for my sister. It has been days since I’ve seen her and she has not been happy with the way the equines of Equestria, do not admire her night. And I cannot force our subjects to stay and watch her twinkling lights all night when some have work the following morning. “I am simply at a loss” she sighed again, lifting the fork that held a rather large piece of cake you watched the booty- beauty shove the cheesecake into her mouth. Mesmerized by her chewing. It still baffled you that just a few weeks ago you had been talking to humanoid like creatures and no matter what they did you would sometimes find yourself staring. Although looking at their asses, especially the two regal one’s that had protected you from the scornful eyes of their kind was more of a problem you needed to work out with a psychiatrist later on. “I am sorry to hear that Celestia” you said with a frown. Taking a small bite of your cake. Not much to your surprise Celestia soon enough upon finishing her own giant slice of cake moved on to another one. Taking another forkful and biting in. The mare tended to eat when she was under great pressure, but hey. Bigger butt plus your libido, equals happy eyes. So you would not complain. “Perhaps if I told her how I feel about her wonderful work with the stars, she would cheer up.” Celestia smiled, before dabbing her lips of the frosting. “Thank you Anon, you are truly a good friend.” She frowned. “However I don’t think you alone would be able to soothe the feeling of denial my sister feels from her ponies. We should approach this carefully.” You nodded, feeling slightly down you would not get to tell Luna how you felt about her wonderful works with the celestial balls of burning gas in the sky. However that feeling of wallow disappeared in a few seconds. The throne room doors imploded and trotting forward on her legs was a beautiful dame clad in a dark gorget, with the moon’s symbol on her chest plate, the moon princess stepped forward. Except she was not the same moon princess you had known. This princess was much darker in complexion to Luna, wearing rather dark colored mascara that matched her chest plate. Her pupils had also become much more reptilian, mirroring that of a dragon, as well as the smile she gave showing off her now sharp white teeth that sent a chill down your spine. “Luna!” Celestia bellowed still holding the cake in her hand and unaware of the frosting around her mouth. “What are you doing?!” Luna did not reply but her dark grin soon turned into a menacing scowl as she stared at her sister. “You would not understand sister” she said with a rage, that made Celestia freeze and put the cake down before she could snag another bite. You remained silent worried by this sudden turn of events. However you did signal to the sun princess that she had cake...all over her face. Celestia with a glow of her horn disposed of the problem turning her attention back to her sister, her eyes filled with worry. “Luna please-” “Do Not Call me LUNA” the dark mare shouted. “From now on I am Nightmare Moon! And will be known as such. And from this day forward, everypony in Equestria will grow to love my moon.” I love your moon. Both of them you thought. “And to do that I have only one solution” she paused for dramatic affect. “Create eternal night for eternity!” she said with a slam of her hoof on the ground. The force was so strong that cracks rose behind the dark mare to the wall before cracking the wall and revealing the sun behind her. Spreading her wings and floating into the sky the mare’s horn glowed in a dark cobalt as the moon menacingly rose in front of the sun, encompassing the world in darkness. The mare laughed menacingly, her shoulders shaking with each drawn laugh. You and Celestia both stare at her with horror. But Celestia’s face became solemn. “Sister. I beg of you stop this nonsense at once! Please there must be some other way” Celestia begged, but Luna looked down at her older sister with a dark grin. “There is no other way sister” she said and suddenly you saw the cake holding Celestia’s favorite type of cake float into the air. Time froze, as Celestia almost in slow motion turned to see her beloved angel cake fall to the ground, in a unnaturally slow manner. “No!” Celestia wailed with a desperate cry her arms outstreched as she launched towards the falling sweet dessert. You could do nothing but watch in even greater horror as the cake feel to the ground with a soft splat, Celestia’s fingers inches from the ruined frosting that now lay all over the marblestone floor. Luna- no Nightmare Moon laughed evilly at her sister’s distraught expression as she continued to float above you two. The moon only serving to increase her malevolent appearance. And as the mare of the moon laughed tauntingly at you, you felt the urge to yell at her to stop this. All of this. And to tell her how you had felt about her. How you always admired her skill with the moon. How you admired how she set the stars in the sky, and arranged each constellation in such a glorious way. How you had always loved the times both you and her spent together. How you had always admired the way she showed herself. How you had loved her...and that beautiful plump booty of hers. You could not take it any longer. You stood. Rising to your feet and moved past the now silent Celestia who had shed a single tear over the fallen cake. And you looked at her. “Nightmare Moon!” you called. The laughing mare stopped laughing and looked at you, with a scowl. “What is it peasant?” she asked. You hesitated, from where you stood you could not help but feel tension at the dark figure floating in front of you. “I-” “LUNAAA!” Celestia called with a rage. “I offer you one last chance!” she said with tears streaming down her face as she held the plate that had once held the delicious angel cake. “Surrender.” Nightmare Moon turned her attention away from you and you looked at Celestia, who had a mixture of pain for her sister and anger for her cake fused into her pale magenta eyes. Nightmare Moon grinned. “No.” In a flash you watched Celestia charge towards her sister as the two went through the castle wall and out into the night. You could do nothing but watch as the two fought in the now dark sky, with you incapable of flying to stop them and reach them. Minutes passed as the battle raged on. Fight after fight continued as you watched the two send magical blasts at each other, but with the princess of the moon proving more stronger. Celestia as you knew obviously holding back. “Luna” you whispered silently. A crash occurred in the castle’s north wing. You looked up to see Celestia no longer in the sky. Moving quickly towards the wing where you knew Celestia would be you headed over there. Within seconds you saw the princess of the sun laying on the ground battered and tired. You were tired and out of breath but moved towards her anyway. “Celestia” you said helping her up, trying not to eye her plot, and amazing booty. Now is not the time brain! you scolded yourself. “Are you alright?” “I am fine. Thank you” she said weakly, before sighing. “I’m afraid I have no choice” she said to you. “What do you mean?” you asked her. Celestia looked back at the figure behind her. There just a few feet away was the capsule that held what you knew to be the elements of harmony. Your eyes widened. “No Celestia” you begged. “Please do not, if you do then-” Celestia placed a finger on your lips to silence you. Her eyes held pain, no longer filled with anger by the loss of her sweet sweet cake. There would be other cakes to come. “I’m sorry Anon. But I must, for Luna’s actions the ponies of Equestria will demand something I simply cannot do. So instead I will banish her, at least then I will know she is alive” the regal princess said with sadness shaking her voice. You felt disheartened. But you knew she was right. Once you had fully helped her stand you watched Celestia walk towards the statue only to freeze as her ears twitched. Quickly turning towards you a look of fear in her eyes her horn glowed with a golden aura, surrounding you and tossing you to the side. Nightmare Moon had shot a blast of magic straightly directed towards the two of you. The blast upon hitting the ground, knocked Celestia into the statue causing the relic to open, before a few elements fell out, near Celestia. Your head was spinning the force at which Celestia had tossed you should have killed you but it seems the blast somehow managed to push you back even further but at the same time offer you with some cushioning. The cushion being the wall. You groaned as you watched Nightmare Moon starting to come in hot towards her sister at quickening speeds. Celestia had now come to, her eyes trembling as she watched her sister getting closer. “Look at it this way Celestia. At least if I finish you now you won’t have to worry about that giant flank of yours obstructing everyone’s view of my moon. Nor will you have to worry about eating cake anymore!” Celestia’s eyes flared with rage at the recall of her losing her cake. Her horn glowed as she whispered. “I’m sorry sister, but for your crimes and my cake.” The elements had begun to glow. You had now gotten up rushing towards the two, but the distance to great for you to cover in time. You held an outstretched hand trying to grasp at the moon princess in an effort to save her, and her amazing flank. But it was all for not. “For your crimes sister” Celestia said. “I must send your bitch ass to the moon” the light increased. Everything glew in a bright light. Nightmare Moon howled into the sky as her magic became overpowered by the magic of friendship. And then, everything went white. You opened your eyes. Having finished recalling the events you let out a sad sigh. Soon enough you heard a knock on your door, it was the Princess. You nodded, letting her in. Once seated the mare took your fork and your cake and began eating it. She hadn’t slept in sometime. “Hi Anon” she said. You said nothing. “I know you miss her Anon, but I am sorry. It had to be done. And you know how it pains me every night when I have to rise the moon in her stead.” You gritted your teeth and clenched your first at her words. “I simply-” Slamming your fist down on the table with a rage burning in your eyes you glared at the princess who had stopped eating your cake with your fork in surprise. “If you were truly sorry you’d bring her back” you said with a pained voice. Celestia frowned. “You know I cannot do that.” After a few seconds of silent staring you sighed. “I know...I. I just miss her” you said looking at the mark on the moon. Celestia put the cake down, and moved towards you. Hugging you with comfort. “I miss her too.” And as the two of you held each other for comfort, your eyes remained staring at the sky as one thought popped into your head. I truly wished I had touched her divine booty.
