Fluttershy decides to have a tea party with her two friends, Iron Will and Discord, who are both pining for her affection. Things escalate into... weird.

Two Trixies. One tires of her shows being nothing more than smoke and mirrors and wishes for real magic. The other just wants to be appreciated and accepted.

Each Trixie has what the other desires, so when they get the chance to trade places with each other, they of course take the chance. Will they truly be happy with their new lives, or will their exchange take a sudden bitter turn?

Diamond Tiara, Apple Bloom, Silver Spoon, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo. The Filly 5. Between them, there is a never-ending conflict between two sides: The rich fillies Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon, and the Cutie Mark Crusaders.

However, when introduced to a common enemy - the colts - can these two warring factions call a temporary truce and work together as one?

Or are they screwed?

Diamond Tiara and Apple Bloom hate each other. Their hate is strong, and pure. But their families are such good friends, and have plans for the two fillies to be together through marriage. They will have none of this hate between the two fillies.

In order to protect their hatred towards each other, the two run away to their new life of forever being mortal enemies, in the hopes that one day they can be apart from each other in peace.

Word count: 51,140/50,000 (going by Microsoft Word's word count, as fimfic seems to like adding words to chapters when they are uploaded, and also counting words in chapters not yet completed). Goal reached: 21/09/2013 @ 22:46 GMT.

This was my entry into the BUCK 2013 fanfic competition, titled 'Independence'. The idea was to write a 1000 word story about BUCK's mascot, Britannia. My entry made it into the final three.

When rogue FBI agent Sombra steals an experimental weapon and flees into a manmade portal into Equestria, the agency decides to enlist the help of somebody with knowledge and experience of the foreign world to chase after him. Or rather, somepony.

After a little argument at a sleepover escalates rapidly out of control, the two once-best friends Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon start fighting with one another. When the Cutie Mark Crusaders get drawn into the mix, they decide to help the two become friends once more.

When Silver Spoon is accused of pulling a false alarm on the school, Cheerilee's class convince their teacher to hold a second class trial to determine Silver Spoon's guilt.

Diamond Tiara, the defendant's best friend, offers to defend her during this trial.

When Diamond Tiara is accused of stealing lunch money from Dinky Doo, she is put on trial by her class. Apple Bloom, who believes Diamond Tiara to be innocent, takes the stand to defend her.

Diamond Tiara is off sick with a cold, and Apple Bloom sees it as an oppurtunity to both help her out, and earn her Cutie Mark at the same time.
