There needs to be more stories like this. Simple and fun
I wholeheartedly agree with Thumper. I absolutely loved this fic. Just a few touches on grammar and word choice (a bane for all writers) and this is an absolute winner
And please don't take the ratings seriously. I'm of the impression that ratings are extremely subjective. In fact, any story with either a perfect rating or a ridiculously low rating (such as yours) is doing their job, which is moving a reader.
Gosh, I can't get enough of how much I love this fic. It simply made me
all over the place. This would make a great children's book by thway. Okay, shutting up now

The dialogue is a little stiff and formal, but other than that it was a nice story.

I saw that this was less than 1000 words and my first thought was: "Oh... NEXT!"
But, I decided to chill and have a laugh... And I did. This couldn't have been a 2 minute film if it were made into a video, but it was just... Well, it's like watching MLP. It takes up a small window of your time, but what you see through that window makes you feel warm inside.
By Celestia, don't stop writing things like this! I need these!
Anyway, there's like 20 different stories I could be reading right now, and I can't read any of them, because if I do, my thought will be preoccupied with other stories and I won't be able to focus on the one I'm writing and HOLY HECK I'M TYPING A LOT!

You gave me an idea... You see, I decided to start off my first story in fimfiction with Battle: Ponyville, which I intend to be at LEAST a 50,000 word story... You can see where I went wrong there. The longest thing I've ever written before then was a 1000 word poem about Fluttershy.
Now, in between chapters of that, I might start writing short stories kind of like this one...
And, if you don't mind, I would like to put you in special thanks for each one. This story was great, and It's one of those little things in life that make it worth living, y'know?

This is still in my top 5 reads, btw. 
The only thing that got me was Flutters being an emotional maelstrom. One moment she is sobbing because of the pepper (which I really think is an overreaction; she wouldn't do that) and the next moment, she is 'Yay, let's go to the party!'.
I love short stories. I love 'left open' stories. I love 'like the show' stories. So damn, you can already tell I enjoyed this very much.
PS: Flutters never ended up adding the pepper to the soup.
