Not glorifying EQD in any way, but I do know their pre-readers go bananas when people start out their fics with things like that. (They aren't wrong to do so) Try to literally throw your readers into the middle of the fic instead. Begin with some action, like your character being nailed in the head with a rolled up ball of paper. That kind of thing.

Oh, We very well know how to set a story up like so. This fic is tagged as Random for a reason, therefore, other ponies and humans will be warned that it would be, well, random. Last time We have checked the dictionary, random meant, "not to make sense at all", or something like that.
Overall, thanketh thee for the criticism, truly. I understand what thou means by our disorderliness in our paragraphs and would never have such unorganized writing in serious works.
