The following are the WWI-era journals of an unnamed British soldier operating in the Western Front from September 1914 - May 1915. The journals describe his dreams in an alternative world of fanciful landscapes and small, colorful ponies, a world we know as Equestria.

i have no idea where this story is going but i have feelings it will be awesome

World War I and ponies; haven't seen something like this for a while.

Can I just say that this has the potential to be one of the greatest Human in Equestria stories written? Finally, one that doesn't share the trope of "They died and became a pony" or "Somehow they were transported to Equestria". Nope. This one takes place within the dreams of a simple man in the middle of ome of the greatest wars known to history.

And might Sky be named for the Isle of Skye, mayhaps?
