No one has ever questioned how a zebra came to live on the fringes of Ponyville. Much less why that zebra constantly speaks in fluid rhymes. When someone finally asks, Zecora recounts the whole tale of why she rhymes and just how it brought her to Ponyville.

Written mostly from first person Zecora's perspective, except for when talking directly to Shadow and not telling the story.

Pretty good idea and good so far, look forward to more of it later on.

great chapter. the one disliker clearly didn't even bother to take a look at this. Suppose there's gonna be more?

2013735 Definitely. It might take a little while but it is in the works.

this is good shit. combo breaker!

2078239 Yea, my chapters tend to be about 1000 words or just a little more. It makes for more chapters and I don't get burnt out while writing the story.

So as she continues her story she tells the next thing that happened was waking up in her bed. But that part could be part of her dream as well as it can be her really waking up... mindfuck

Not sure what it was but my imagination was on overdrive imagines the story as it was told. Definitely following this story

I'm really eager to read more and it's been a while. When will you update?

2400427 Whenever I can find time to sit down and actually write it. I kinda backed myself into a corner and feel like the rest of the story could go rather fast so I'm trying to come up with new things that she can wander into. I sorta jumped into this one with no real planning, which was a bit of a mistake but I loved the idea and wanted to see what others thought, and now I'm just stuck. Hopefully in another week or two I can have something up. I'll start typing more on my iphone in my free time.

Thanks for commenting actually, I'd somewhat forgotten about this,

2404271I sometimes write with my iphone too! Often at nights before starting to sleep. I think I'm having kind of the same issue with MY story. I also try to wait the right moment to start writing but it's not inspiring since I have more dislikes than likes... comments and feedback always seems to give the kicks

But I've realized that sometimes you just need to force yourself to get started, and if the result doesn't please you can edit it until it does. Sometimes it helps! The most important (and hardest) thing to do is getting started.

oooh....the plot thickens :pinkiehappy:

"Sure do. One of the worst days I’ve ever hard, actually"

typo alert!!! :rainbowdetermined2:

2910382 Fixed! Thanks, I write most of this on my iPhone so a few of those get by on occasion.
