After a 1000 year wait, Turaga Vakama awakes from a vision that tells him Tahu and the five other toa will not be coming to rescue his island after all. As he goes to tell his villagers the terrible news, Vakama's captain of the guard tells him that Rainbow Dash, Toa of Loyalty, is already here, and is 20% cooler than the legends predicted. Vakama is skeptic about the new arrival, a creature the likes of which he's never seen before. Determined to prove Rainbow and her friends as frauds, Vakama pits the Mane 6 against the evil Makuta, master of shadows. Whether the magic of friendship can overcome this dark foe remains to be seen, as the battle for the fates of the Great Spirit and the equestians Princesses begins. (Note: This fic assumes little-to-no prior knowledge of the BIONICLE storyline. Every necessary detail will be explained as it comes up.)

I had only been a brony for, like, half a year at that point, and I can see looking back that while the original Toa Mata are a powderkeg looking for a spark, the Mane6 would not fight like that. Hmmm, this is going well. Interesting how much we have in common between our two stories, with regards to which koro the EoH decided to ally with. Pinkie in Le-Koro, RD in Ta-Koro, FS in Ga-Koro... However, I had Twilight in Ko-Koro (wall of prophecy, plus ko-metru was a place of knowledge,) Rarity was in Po-Koro (only place with artistic inclinations) and AJ was with Onu-Koro (she's an earth pony, after all, and arguably the strongest/most level-headed of them all, like Onua.) Of course, Takua was also running around, and had presumably gotten most (if not all) of the side-quests done by the time things happened...

Oh, hey, something I found out while perusing the various Bionicle wikis... Apparently, organic races (Agori, Glatorian, Ponies, etc...) are immune to mind-control via wearing a Krana (and possibly infected masks...?) because Krana work by "reprogramming" the mechanical bits of a given being. Of course, that's OG canon, not necessarily canon to this universe... Just saying.
