Scootaloo used to be on very good terms with her mother, Derpy. However she's lately become distant and ashamed of her. But this is not the result of your typical youthful rebellion, Scootaloo has actually begun to resent her for reasons she can't really explain. One day this resentment comes to surface and Scootaloo does something she soon regrets. Derpy soon afterwards hurt in an accident and Scootaloo might not even get the chance to make things right.

Alright Derpy approves this. Being the Derpy fan I am, I disliked the Derpy sadness last chapter. But it is better now

I don't know how I've missed this while looking around for Derpy centered fics but I am glad I found it now. Nice story and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Always nice to see things work out favorably in the end.
