Lightning Storm must survive and fight through the perilous Wastelands, as he must look for a cure for his beloved, whom which is diagnosed with a serious infection that is spreading across Equestria. Causing everypony that is infected with the said disease, turning them into mindless flesh eating zombies! While also accompanied by his companions, Lightning must discover the source of the bombings and the origins of the terrorist group: The Death Hunters whom seem to have relations between each other in the cause of the zombiepony outbreak.

Anyways, some new news; We MIGHT add a third update day to speed up the act a bit, but were not sure. I'm thinking it would get our views up and feed the readers and give you guys more enjoyment, but at the same time I don't want to make Connell exhausted from writing.
Will just have to see. :]

476549 Hehe, you got a point there. I'm not going to lie to anyone here, but the first around three were my chapters, I was solo at the time. So yeah, they're pretty garbage. ((I was kind of a new to writing with ponies)) But thankfully, I realized my old friend here; Connell, was a fantastic writer and was willing to help me out with the story. Thanks man!
Although, just because of this; that doesn't mean I am a bad writer what-so-ever. ((Not anymore, anyways)) I may have been around the time the story came out, but when Connell turned up and showed me how he writes and what he does, I feel as if I can solo again. Separate projects, of course.
But back with the thumbs, I dont want to give anybody a feel as if I am complaining or anything, but I just want to say; read passed the first three/four chapters, it gets better.

One question remains: Where is the fair Princess Celestia? (And when will Pinkamina Diane Pie be happy again?!)
I believe it was hinted that Celestia was at Canterlot in the chapter at Fluttershy's house.

If I have ONE complaint about this story, just one, it's that the Mane Six don't seem to have a role except for appearances. They aren't as badass as they should be.
1008301 We started the story with just a mind for OCs, and having the M6 as somewhat background characters. But after we brought in AJ, I figured I should bring them all in, even if they don't play that much of a role in progressing the story.

Agreed, we couldn't find a proper position for Mane 6 as the sole protagonists. We decided to keep the story in eyes of new characters instead of the usual 'Six Elements of Harmony = End of all that is corrupted and wicked'. We want to make it feel as though there is never a happy ending and that there isn't anyway to truly 'cure' something as cold blooded and deviating as say, a nuclear retaliation, let alone zombies. We kept more towards OC's to make it seem like they can only do what they can, and not completely revert what has happened.
