This whole story suffers from the fact that Applejack keeps calling Twilight 'miss Sparkle', once is okay as a joking remark, but right now it just feels like an alternate universe version where they're not even really friends.

The Spiced apple thing is also a little convoluted and serves no real practical purpose in light of the story.

All in all, I think this story could use some work and I'd be happy to look it over with you.
