Something fishy here. Description leads me to think this is set in the human world. But there's no Human tag.

You make a good point, so I'm going to go ahead and put this here for context and change up the tags so everyone knows. May even add an explanation into the story somehow in the next part.

While this concept does take the same route as Equestria girls, it isn't that at all. Instead, the pony world is more of a medium I'm using to write a story in this time period with characters I feel are a bit more interesting than real-life counterparts. In summary, This is 1923 America, or the Equestrian States, if ponies were the inhabitants instead of humans or humanized versions of themselves.

Another thing to note is the inclusion of the My Little Pony Movie into the world-building which explains the appearance of two-legged individuals such as Rosetti. While it is not exclusive to them as evidenced by the filly begging for coin, Characters like Capper would be a part of the majority that populates the role of the oppressed individuals in our history such as African Americans.

If you were a little bit confused by that explanation, here's a summary. This story takes place in 1923 America, which in this particular world is called the equestrian States. There are no humans or humanized characters. There are instead ponies and non-ponies who take on the role instead. Those ponies and non-ponies have gone through the same issues we've gone through from World War I to slavery.

This is the world I have specifically designed in order to allow me to write 1920 stories. Nine times out of 10, I will be using the same world designed to tell even more stories so I hope that's not too jarring, especially when I potentially start a new account.

Done and done, thanks for looking out for me.

I expected to be able to read this way earlier. ^^

In all honesty, I had a hard time reading the first chapter. Maybe because it's not a usual take on Silver and Diamond.
And it's sometimes unclear in which context we are exactly. I believe it's ponies and cats such as Capper in the movie. But several times is unclear, using words as "man" expressions with "hands" etc, I at some point wasn't sure if it was supposed to be ponies or anthro-ponies.

Second chapter was more interesting, seeing up things nicely, promising an adventure. (Maybe layering a bit much the Lackadaisy references ? ^^)

I definitely read the next chapters, but I advise being careful not just at orthographe when rereading, but also as to how respectful of "pony-ism" you want to be.

Good luck in your work.
