Welcome one, welcome all, do not be afraid to take your seats as I stand to introduce myself. As a man of business, many know me as Mr. Daydream, a cardinal sin of entertainment. But you, my friends, may call me Lyle, your extravagant storyteller extraordinaire. Now, this isn't exactly my first performance nor will it be my last. It's a change of pace at the end of the day, a hint of summer sassafras on the river of joyous tales passed.

Now your eyes tell me all I need to know. You might be wondering what's so different about this new run-of-the-mill gazebo and I'd be more than happy to answer your question. There was a time when I was just a young boy with a passion for pen and paper or in this case, keyboard and screen. Those early days were full of nothing but inspiration and continuous arduous writing. But there comes a time when you realize that quantity is not necessarily better than quality. Churning out stories one after the other after the other and yet, I ran into some rather frequent issues. Finishing stories was always first in line but then came the actual topics of which I was writing, usually centered around either Luna, Spike, or smut. Though I understand how beautifully written that last one can be, it is not something I am proud of producing myself.

Now, let's not jump to conclusions. I'm no saint, and never will be. Which is why I aim to be a little different with this particular persona, professional I would say. While I can make no guarantee not to occasionally write the romantic tale or promise that Spike won't be the main character of another thrilling adventure, I can promise that my main goal on this account is tales of grandeur, stories that may elicit nostalgia or excitement. Some in the MLP universe, some not, others may be reminiscent of your favorite childhood companies While others may take an entirely new avenue. Some might be rather lighthearted while others are completely insane. From old tales of yore, like All Dogs Go To Heaven to newer narratives like Lackadaisy Cats, my stories will seek inspiration everywhere animation exists.

Whether in a time of ambition or a time of prohibition, we are but drifters in this river of uncertain yet genuine imaginative serendipity.
