Part 11: What an Adventure

The Main 7 were in the familiar free-fall state as they crossed from one world back to their home. After the thousands of miles she had travelled in the Wings Around The Globe Rally, Rainbow Dash was looking forward for a well-deserved rest.

"I cannot wait till we get home. I'm beyond tuckered out." She said as she stretched.

"Can't say ah blame ya, Rainbow. That must've been one heck of ah workout." Applejack said.

"You can definitely say that again, AJ" Rainbow answered.

"It was nice meeting new folks and staying in such a peaceful and quiet place, but, I'm also glad to be heading home." Rarity said.

"Ah, don't hide the fact that you were complainin' of sleepin' on nothin' but straw when we were there." Applejack said.

"It was all itching and dusty and...ugh." Rarity winced. "Just because they didn't have beds for us, didn't mean we had to be treated like farm animals."

"I-I didn't mind it." Fluttershy said quietly.

"You can't expect every world to give you your every need, Rarity." Twilight said.

"Oh, please. A lady, such as myself, deserves some amount of luxury." The fashionista said indignantly.

The others rolled their eyes.

"Oh, I can't wait to tell everypony about our adventure." Pinkie said excitedly. "I'll tell the Cakes, the twins, Zecora, Maud Pie, Marble Pie, Limestone Pie-"

Twilight put a hoof against Pinkie's mouth.

"I think it's best we don't go into a whole lot of detail. The last thing we need is ponies getting the wrong idea about inter-dimensional travel and, what we are essentially talking about, aliens. I don't hold any offense to Dusty or Skipper or Chug or any of the friends we’ve made.” The purple alicorn said.

"Kinda have to agree with Twi on that one." Applejack said.

"Why's that?" Spike asked.

"Let's be honest. A lot of the ponies in Ponyville are a bit...paranoid. So them knowing of other worlds with creatures other then ponies may lead to unnecessary panic." Applejack explained.

"Exactly what I was thinking.” Twilight said. “I mean, remember Zecora?”

“Ah, man." Pinkie pouted.

A few seconds later, a small opening began to form at the end of the portal. It got larger and larger the Main 7 got closer.

"Well, this is it. It seems we’re nearing our Intended destination." Twilight annouced.

They all shielded their eyes as the light grew brighter and brighter until...

They all hopped out one at a time back in the Cutie Map room. Nothing seemed to have changed while they were gone.

“We’re finally home.” Fluttershy sighed in relief.

"I hope Starlight didn't get too lonely while we were gone." Twilight said worriedly.

"I'm sure she's fine, darling." Rarity said.

"Yeah, but you could have at least told me you were leaving to another world." A voice came.

The gang jumped a little and turned to see the lavender unicorn casually sitting in Pinkie's designated chair with smug smile on her face.

"How long were you sitting there?" Spike asked.

"About two minutes. The princess told me you were coming back soon." Starlight answered.

"Wait. Celestia is here, too?" Twilight asked.

"Yes, my little ponies and dragon." A soft voice said.

Everypony turned to the doorway to see the princess of the sun making her way inside the room.

"I'm able to sense when the return portal is about to form." Celestia said.

"Uh. Exactly how long were we gone, Princess?" Applejack asked.

"About two days And don't worry, I kept Starlight company whenever I could." The princess said.

"Wait, but, we were at Propwash Junction for almost two weeks. How could we be gone for only TWO days?!” Twilight asked in surprised.

"Propwash...wha?" Starlight was very confused.

"Time can work differently from one world compared to another. It's something that is almost impossible to explain, I'm afraid." Celestia explained.

Twilight was left with more questions then answers. But then something else came to her mind. Her ears flatten against her head.

"Umm, Princess?" She asked uneasily.

"Twilight, there's no need for the formalities. Just Celestia will suffice." The solar princess said softly.

"I know, but, you know how you said before we left that doing the friendship mission is more important than making notes and observations about the new world." Twilight said, getting more anxious.

"Yes, I do. Why do you ask, Twilight?" Celestia asked.

Twilight couldn't help but sweat just a little bit.

"You okay, sugarcube?" Applejack asked out of concern.

"Well, Pinkie had my one of my journals with me and gave it to me. I didn't want to disobey you, but I couldn't help myself. I'm sorry, Celestia." Twilight said sadly.

She lowered her heard, expecting the princess told scold her in some way. But, all there was a slight giggle from her.

"Oh, Twilight. There's no need for apologies. I may have been a bit to harsh about learning new things from the new world. I know you enjoy making notes and observations about new things, that's what makes you, you." Celestia explained holding Twilight's chin with her hoof. "It's not up to me what you choose to do in these missions, note-taking or not.

Twilight smiled and hugged her mentor.

"Thank you, Celestia." She said.

“You’re welcome, my faithful student.” Celestia returned the hug.

Twilight then turned to Starlight.

"And I'm sorry for leaving on such short-notice and not telling you." She apologized.

"Apology accepted. Just make sure you tell me next time." Starlight said.

Twilight nodded again.

"Well, ah think it's time we all headed home." Applejack said before yawning.

"Agreed, darling. I could go for a nice shower." Rarity said.

"Same here." Rainbow agreed.

"All my animals are probably wondering where I am. I should probably hurry back." Fluttershy said.

"I hope we get more journeys like this. That was fun." Pinkie said happily.

"Maybe not for a while, Pinkie. I'm exhausted." Rainbow said as she left the room.

Pinkie hopped after her. Applejack, Fluttershy, and Rarity left soon after.

"Twilight, how about you tell us about you time in the new world." Celestia said.

"Oh, yes, there's so much to talk about!" Twilight said excitedly.

For several hours she talked about meeting with Dusty and the gang, Rainbow joining the Wings Around The Globe Rally, Skipper's backstory, Propwash Junction, everything. Celestia and Starlight listened intently, while Spike left to take a bubble bath.

Soon, Celestia had to leave back to Canterlot, leaving only Twilight and Starlight.

"I hope next time I'll get to join you guys. It was great talking to Celestia, but it gets kinda annoying being left by myself with all the friendship tests you give me." Starlight said.

"I hope so, too, Starlight. It's such a unique way to learn things about friendship. Believe me, you’ll love it.” Twilight said.

“I don’t doubt it.” The lavender unicorn chuckled.

It had been about a week since the Main 7 journeyed to the new world. They talked a little bit about with their families, but, as promised, didn't go too in-depth about it.

At this time, Rainbow Dash was currently in Wonderbolt training, again. She used all she learned from Skipper to her advantage. Rainbow weaved around the other trainees with sharp turns and with pin-point precision. She past a Purple pegasus with an electric blue mane with a radial-G pass and zoomed by. Down below, another pegasus looked on with a look of shock.

She was bright yellow with an orange, fiery mane and tail. Her eyes were bright orange and her cutie was of a burst of flames. Lastly she wore a blue blazer with whistle around her neck. Her name...was Spitfire.

"When was she able to do that? I've never seen her do this before." She said in disbelief.

Twilight walked up to her.

"Let's just say a new friend of hers helped her train to do all that." Twilight said subtly.

"Huh. Who is this new friend of hers? I'm I able to meet them?" Spitfire asked.

"Unfortunately, he lives a long, long ways away from here." Twilight said. "But, he's a really nice guy and really experienced.

"Bummer. He could've been a great inclusion to the Wonderbolts." The coach mare said.

"I’m sure he would be interested. Then again, he is retired.” The purple alicorn said in a sure tone.

"Well, regardless, he’s missing out." Spitfire simply said.

She went back to coaching the trainees, leaving Twilight to her own thoughts.

I wonder what Dusty and the others are up to right now?

The USS Flysenhower was cruising along in the North Pacific along with some new faces. It had been a couple weeks since Dusty's victory at the Wings Around The Globe Rally. Because of his success, he had received the status as honorary Jolly Wrench. Both he and Skipper were waiting on the Flysenhower.

Dusty, with a new paint job, and Skipper were lifted onto the top deck.

"Attention on deck. Victory!" The Sergeant yelled.

"Victory!" The soldiers repeated then saluted

"It's an honor to be here." Skipper said before saluting.

Some fighter jets flew overhead.

"Hook them up." One of the forklifts ordered.

Both planes were hooked to the catapults. Dusty readied his rudder and elevators and throttled his engine to life.

"You ready, wingman?" He asked to Skipper.

"Roger that." The veteran answered.

"An honorary Jolly Wrench. How's that feel, Dusty?" Echo asked.

"It feels great." Dusty said enthusiastically.

"Back in the saddle again, eh, Skipper?" Bravo asked.

"Well, they didn't have these fancy toys the last time I did this." Skipper replied, referring to the catapults.

"Nothing to it. They hook you up, you nod to the shooter over there, and hang on!" Dusty explained.

A forklift signaled for release and in a split second, Dusty and Skipper shot forward at incredible speed. They took to the air and flew around the airspace. Skipper was having the time of his life.

"Yeah!" He said victoriously.

The flew side-by-side. doing laps around the ship. They looked at each other and smiled.

“If only Rainbow and the others were here for this.” Dusty said to himself.

Then he got an idea.

"Last one back to Propwash buys!" Dusty challenged.

"You're on!" Skipper said competitively.

“Wahoo!” Dusty exclaimed.

Twilight watched Rainbow continue to use Skipper’s training to her advantage. Though, she did see her talk about her new moves to the other pegasi. Twilight sighed in wonder.

"What new adventures await us?"

Dusty Crophopper & The Mane 6 Will Return In
My Little Pony: Friendship Is Cine-Magic:
Planes: Fire & Rescue

I cant wait for that adventure💖

The Main 7 were in the familiar free-fall state as the crossed from one world back to their home. After the thousands of miles she had travelled in the Wings Around The Globe Rally, Rainbow Dash was looking forward for a well-deserved rest.

they
11530868

"I cannot wait till we get home. I'm beyond tuckered out." She said as she stretched.

"Can't say ah blame ya, Rainbow. That must've been one heck of ah workout." Applejack said.

"You can definitely say that again, AJ" Rainbow answered.

"It was nice meeting new folks and staying in such a peaceful and quiet place, but, I'm also glad to be heading home." Rarity said.

Twilight and her friends doesn't sound like they even missed Dusty Crophopper and their vehicle friends considering they just stayed there for a day or two and that after their mission, they were forcibly teleported back to their own world by a magical furniture instead of exploring the world and developing new friendships with them.

That didn't happened. That never happened because we haven't seen it from the back and forth. That wasn't written in the story the moment it was supposed to be happen so why is Rarity only mentioning it right now that they are separated from their plane friends and have gone back home in Equestria?

I don't hold any offense to Dusty or Skipper or Chug or any of the creatures we've met. The purple alicorn said.

"Exactly what I was thinking." Twilight said.

"Ah, man." Pinkie pouted.

Umm what's going on here? Why is Twilight encouraging her friends to lie and they just go with it? Why are these ponies shifting to lying to everyone else now and Applejack is going with it? And why is Twilight putting words in other ponies mouths saying how they are going to be paranoid upon hearing all of this? Its a story about them going into other worlds and doesn't everyone already know about what Discord did in the past with their history and what Discord did to Ponyville? How is this different? Why tell half truths then? A half truth is still a lie. Either they be silent about it or they tell the entire truth? Why are they lying here and why is Twilight encouraging her friends to be liars? Why?

They all shielded their eyes as the light grew brighter and brighter until...

They all hopped out one at a time back in the Cutie Map room. Nothing seemed to have changed while they were gone.

"I hope Starlight didn't get to lonely while we were gone." Twilight.

"I'm sure she's fine, darling." Rarity said.

"Yeah, but you could have at least told me you were leaving to another world." A voice came.

The gang jumped a little and turned to see the lavender unicorn casually sitting in Pinkie's designated chair with smug smile on her face.

"How long were you just sitting there?" Spike asked.

"About two minutes. The princess told me you were coming back soon." Starlight answered.

"Wait. Celestia is hear, too?" Twilight asked.

"Only about a day. And don't worry, I kept Starlight company whenever I could." The princess said.

"Wait, but, we were at Propwash Junction for several days. How could we be gone for only ONE day?" Twilight asked in surprised.

"Propwash...wha?" Starlight was very confused.

"Time can work differently from one world compared to another. It's something that is almost impossible to explain, I'm afraid." Celestia explained.

I didn't clip out the rest of the scene here man but you get the gist of what's happening here. What is the explanation here and why is it that Twilight and her friends were in the other world for several days but then they were only gone here for one day. Why is that? So that there could be no hulabaloo about Twilight and her friends missing in Equestria everyone else scrambling to find them and where they are? And this is them telling Starlight offscreen what happened with Starlight asking what is Propwash Junction and then Twilight apologizing to Celestia about not following her orders and yet Twilight didn't get to have fun like she wanted in the other world? I thought Twilight and the rest of the Mane 6 have made friends with the planes and other vehicles in the other world? She just says sorry here to Celestia and that's it just go home? Shouldn't she ask Celestia if there is a way that their plane friends could go here to Equestria to visit or if there is a way for them to visit the planes world anytime they want because they have become their friends and that they would want to hang out with them even more and explore their world? But this wasn't brought up and everyone else just goes home? What about missing their plane friends in that other world and wanting to explore? They missed them right?

"I hope next time I'll get to join you guys. It was great talking to Celestia, but it gets kinda annoying being left by myself with all the friendship tests you give me." Starlight said.

"I hope so, too, Starlight. It's such a unique way to learn things about friendship." Twilight said.

Yeah Twilight... Because you never asked Celestia or even made a request to her or even Discord asking how can we go back there anytime we want or how can we go back here anytime we want like the Mirror World from Sunset Shimmer's world. Make a multiver teleporting machine, a magic door, Something, Anything just to keep our friendships alive and make more memories for the future since I still want to learn about the other world and now since Celestia apologized for being hard on you, You didn't even ask her how to go to the other world to learn more anytime you want... What missed opportunity indeed.

*Sighs* So.. This is just Twilight and her friends telling half truths about their adventures in the Pixar Cars world, Half truths since they are literally LYING TO THEM. ESPECIALLY TWILIGHT SINCE HE LIES TO SPITFIRE HER ADVENTURES IN THE OTHER WORLD AND ABOUT SKIPPER. LIED and there's a scene with My Little Pony trying to mirror what happens in planes without the other set of characters being there............ Man no offense but this ending was pretty weak.....

It had been about a week since the Main 7 journeyed to the new world. They talked a little bit about with their families, but, as promised, didn't go too in-depth about it.

At this time, Rainbow Dash was currently in Wonderbolt training, again. She used all she learned from Skipper to her advantage. "Bummer. He could've been a great inclusion to the Wonderbolts." The coach mare said.

"Trust me, I doubt he'd be interested." The purple alicorn said in a sure tone.

"Well, he's missing out." Spitfire simply said.

She went back to coaching the trainees, leaving Twilight to her own thoughts.

Why do you expect me to live up to your standards? Why must you point out every single problem with this story? It’s not perfect and it seems, given some of the problems you stated, that you haven’t completely read through the chapter. All this is, is a story to entertain people with an interesting crossover. I’m not treating this like a professional, I’m treating this like a beginner who just wants to make crossover stories, whether there are flaws or not. There are some things I can improve upon, I admit that, but this literally my first ever story. You can’t expect me to create the consistent and perfect story on the first go.

11537152
Umm I actually completely read the entire story 2 or three times that's why I was able to quote and point out the flaws in the story man.

11537152
I understand that your a beginner in this and I really enjoyed the story. I love the friendship between Twilight and the Mane 6 with the Planes though even in Friendship is Magic I'm not really a big fan of the Friendship Mission Episodes and with the way the map just makes the portal appear and disappear, Its the same with Extreme Enigma's Cinematic Adventures where after the plot of the movie ends, It just makes the ponies return to Equestria, they don't even explore them further with the lore and its sad there's no way for them to see each other whenever they want like at the ending of Monsters Inc.

11537155
Okay fine, maybe there is some more potential, but I just want to leave it as is, at least for now. They are just missions after all.

11536907
The ending also didn't really sound nice when Twilight and her friends decided that its okay to tell everypony about their adventures by telling them half truths about what happened aka lies. That she assumes the ponies will be paranoid about all of this and be scared even though this is after Discord's redemption. That she doesn't just let them tell ponies about what they did and its bad when even Applejack agrees to this especially when to all ponies, Twilight lies about to Spitfire about Skipper who doesn't even know these mountain of nonsense that Twilight has heaped upon his name before having the mirror of the MLP Ending and Planes ending. I had nitpicks in the planes story as you said its a forgettable movie as well as the map but its really bad when Twilight lied to Spitfire in the end there.

Alright setting aside what happened in the other world and the map, Why did Twilight and her friends have to lie to the other ponies when telling their adventures? Even telling half truths, Why did Twilight have to lie to Spitfire man? Even knowing deep inside her that Skipper would love to meet Spitfire and have an experience if a machine was made possible for all the planes characters to go to Equestria :pinkiegasp:

11537166
Are you just going to keep complaining about everything?

11537152
Just ignore them. If they are going to keep complaining about everything, then its their problem.

11544893
Thanks, man. Appreciate the support.

Good story ^^ So what next story do you next ?

11544893
Maybe they just didn’t like the source movie. I never saw it, but I heard it was a major bomb. Do you think that’s it?
11545115

11642948
I honestly don’t know. If that is the case, its understanding, the movie was really made to sell merchandise. Personally, I like it and I think it’s a tad underrated, but that’s just me.

11642983
All I know is that Doug Walker really, really hated this movie. But he didn’t like the Cars movies either and I liked those movies, so I can’t say myself either. I tend to have really unpopular opinions. Personally, I’m just worry that this story is just going to be a shot-for-shot remake of Planes. That is what happened in extremeenigma02’s “Cinematic Adventures” series and at least for me, I didn’t like that very much. I wanted him to make as many changes as possible while still staying true to what the movie is about, and as far as I can tell, he didn’t do that. There was clearly a fanbase for that, but it just wasn’t for me. So is that going to be the case for this series?

11652715
I don’t know, I feel that comes down to preference.

11652855
OK, but are these stories going to be shot-for-shot remakes of these moves?

No, I try to add unique, yet sensible, changes.

And I am HOPING that he won't go for Pixar Cars, because I do not want that franchise to be involved in whatever plot he is writing.
I already thought of like a 'Cars cinematic adventure saga' you could say and there is no need in it for a big bad MLP villian or bad guy from different worlds, I want the characters to grow character arcs and learn from the worlds they went to.

Just a simple sweet character growth stories.
(Character growth arcs for Rainbow Dash)
(I am a big Pixar Cars fan)

Planes is in the same universe as Cars so you have to write the Pixar Cars stories.

Right?:fluttercry:

Maybe. I already spoken with dinodisneylover1 about it and he said it was alright with me doing the trilogy, so long as I make it different from his interpretation.

It was only Rainbow who did it. Dusty just happen to be in the epicenter.

Well, I wasn’t expecting that. I think it’s cool someone decided to make a YouTube series out of it. Seems like the story inspired him possibly.

Call me strange, but I was in the minimum of peeps glad to hear some alternative rock in a Disney feature again around the time this movie came out.
