After 10 long years of fighting that left the Earth uninhabitable, the pups of freedom alliance and now the Newly former United Republic had won the war against the humans. But at the cost of their world destroyed.
The United Republic of the pups search for a new home alongside the stars and eventually finds one. A planet they call Earth 2 or to the ponies that live on it, Equis. But they also realize another thing.
The humans.... have found them once again.
Now, with the fate of both species, Pups and Ponies at risk of a global apocalypse, they will have to turn to each other and fight to survive.

What, exactly, is a pup? We're not getting much of any description to work with here.
Basically, this is the Paw Patrol universe, where after losing the entire Earth to Humankind, they left the planet and traveled to Equis to start a new life.
A pup is any kind of dog, but these pups are stronger and more smarter then humans, which is a reason why the war happened. They are able to do a lot of things in the past they couldn't do.
Okay so what about the humans?
And if they are in the U.S. the what about humans that were nice to them and their fellow citizens?
Becuase I doubt that all humans would just immediately start attacking a pup. And what country or country’s are the human’s from?

Unfortunately, here's the full back story of what happen leading up to the Great War.
The pups and humans(all of them) had always had a close relationship with each. But as time pass, the pups started not wanting to be control by the Humans any longer.
So they sent a message to their governments, not for independence, but for more independence from humans.
They did not like that.
Evenaulty, though, in 2022. They decided that the only way to stay in power, being the apex predator, was to wipe out the pups.
This lead to the assault on Adventure Bay, one of the few settlements that didn't hate or racism against pups. The town was wiped off the map after a nuclear strike.
The war range on for ten long years, causing the pups to lose about 2/3 of their population and the humans to almost go extinct.
They had to leave the Earth because of the usage of WMDs(biological, chemical and nuclear weapons) poison the Earth, making it uninhabitable.
I hope that fix's the misunderstanding.

Somewhat like that. The pups at first didn't want to return the favor on the humans. During the first few years of the Great War, they tried to make a peace deal with the humans. But they didn't accepted it.
Basically for them, it turned into a war for survival.
For the ponies, when they finally meet them, they are going to get a nasty surprise from a desperate humanity, who now hates any sentient life

Equstria won't want to deal with them at all at first, because at first they thought the pups kidnap Rainbow Dash and some of them feared their might.
For the humans, there will be a small group of human turned machine pup(yeah, they get that desperate) come to Equis to warn them of the rest of humanity wanted their revenge, allowing them to prepare for the war of the worlds.

Yes, correct and for the P.O.Ws, they have other ways of committing suicided. And to the end, a least a thousand human turned machine pup will go to the United Forces of Equis before the end of the war.
