Accurate Balance

Presumption of writing is a crime, punishable by depression.

Rainbow Dash flew west.

This story was originally written in Chinese by myself and was an entry in FimTale's 2022 Winter Writing Event ("In a Matter of a Day,") before being withdrawn.

Edited with the help from TheFlint44.

Criticisms are welcomed, especially on my choice of words.

Don't push your luck, gentleman.

No no no no!
NO JUMPING BETWEEN TENSES LIKE THAT!

Pretty good one-shot. I can guess where some of the inspiration for this came from.

Remember, originally Chinese. I don't know much about chinese, but I do recall that they have a time-neutral tense. So take a breath, cool your heels, and let's get productive.

OK for a chinese writer this is then actually pretty good . .

Oops, I see what you mean. I shouldn’t have hurried myself to publish this. I’m working on the grammar issues now. Thank you for pointing the problem out!

And I can guess where you've guessed. ;)

Thank you for your kind words!
More precisely, Chinese is always time-neutral. You use adverbs and particles to indicate when an event takes place.

What a joke. From the title to story description to the actual content, you're just keep referencing others' works. Works that your own doesn't even hold a candle to. A shallow and self-moaning story coated in layers and layers of labyrinthine and barely-readable sentences. You did FimTale the world of good by withdrawing from their contest.
