On a seemingly ordinary day, six ponies and one dragon go about their usual business, but long before the day is over, tensions will rise, exhaustion will kick in and some of the things which they thought to be true...will be proven wrong. Unbeknownst to them, their respective situations are all loosely connected...
This is a multi-chapter story with each installment focusing mainly on two characters, but all of the chapters run parallel to each other. To be more specific, the entire story spans a single day, but every chapter displays it from a different perspective. Enjoy!

Thank you for the comment! There's more to come, so stay tuned! I'd like to note that I'm not a new fan, as I've been watching MLP regularly since the beginning of Season 2. I originally wrote this fanfic back in 2013 and posted it on Fanfiction.net under a different pen name.
As for the "happy, care-free status quo" you mentioned...that's pretty much all I've ever seen Equestria as. I usually try to write my stories within the confines or restrictions of a show's continuity. I wasn't aware that other fans were "losing their grip" on what had been established in the show, and I'm curious as to how something like that could happen. Anyway, there will be other fanfics after this one has been concluded, and they all employ the same "normal" version of Equestria (although the fact that they're all comedies certainly helps). Ah, it's from 2013! That explains what I was sensing from the tone. That was a fun time. The stuff that I wrote back then was not as good as this story. I look forawrd to reading your next story.
