How much does the high ground matter when both participants can fly and shoot lasers from their horns, really?

I mean... it arguably makes more sense than in the original, where in fencing it's often a disadvantage to be on the high ground.
In this case at least, Luna has the disadvantage of having to struggle against gravity to close the gap between them, while Celly can just dive if she deems it neccessary. Lasers are useful, but in my mind you can't really do enough damage to cripple an alicorn unless you get up close and personal.
But also yes I agree.
