Wow. That was indeed a big mystery...
Your story is very atmospheric! It gave me different feelings than Rainbow Factory or Pegasus Device, it has different atmosphere, but these feelings of something dark and unnatural were very strong. I like such stories! :D It's interesting to see such story inside RF universe.

Thank you very much. I never planned what atmosphere to put in the story, it just happened naturally.
My main focus was on making the mystery. You know, the slow reveal of information where it gets more and more specific the further you go.
There is an answer to this mystery. As a first time writer I have no idea if this was either to obvious or to hard to guess.

I thought there wasn't, and you left it unanswered on purpose, to leave readers with guesses...
I had couple theories right after I finished reading, but I dunno what's more plausible...
The ending made me think of Bendy & that User Manual was one of the living ink constructs who destabilized because the rotten ink can't really mesh with the kind of dark emotions the factory would bring up.
