Hi there. I'm just your average fanfiction writer hoping to make a name here.

E

Rarity has her heart in the right place. But she really needs to see the difference between generosity and imposing one's interest on others.

Short but decent story so far that I read today.

“True. But this is a TEAM effort Dashy, and therefore you WILL put in your part in this project – or so help me I will ask A.K. Yearling to delay the release of the next Daring Do book by another hour.”

What makes this funny is that Rainbow and Rarity think the author has control over the publication date for their books when they don't. At least not full control and even if she did, she likely wouldn't risk angering or confusing her other readers. Then again there is no exact time for book releases, as I am aware, so the one hour delay can't exactly be enforced. Oh here I am thinking too much about a minor thing in a short comedic fic. Sorry I can't help it sometimes.

Looks like poor Rarity should have thought that joke though:rainbowlaugh:

She’s beautiful. But she can still be gorgeous. What else can I add?

And with that… she… was…… done! A fine work if I do say so myself. It was tough arranging everything so neatly on a sleeping client but it’ll have to do.

Was that mean to be Rarity's thoughts? The narration was mostly in third-person, but it switched to first-person here.

Yeah, I have no clue how publishing work. The only exposure i get from publishing are pretty much just the fanfiction world.

Ugh... forgot to make that part italic Oh well.

Eh, it happens. I've let much worse than that slip sometimes in my stories and had to go back and fix it.

Yeah-he-he-he-he~😈

Suffice to say she wasn’t getting anything done.

Oh rainbow dash :facehoof:

A few minutes later the three girls would sit over by the table with Twilight at its head. The nerdy gal would glance between the walking disco ball and the… very hairless Rarity who grunted in her seat.

Note to self, never do a prank on RD involving dress up or make up and stuff.

“Ah Rainbow Dash. I see you noticed my handiwork.” Rarity waved it off casually. “No need to thank me. I was more than happy to provide you with a semblance of culture. It’s what friends do afte… Rainbow? Darling? Uh… why are you looking at me like that…? What are you doing with my – P… put that clipper down dear. That’s not a toy. I bought that from the store the other day and it’s very expen…… Rainbow? Sweetie? D… don’t come any closer! Can we talk this over? Hello?”

Oh no.

Rarity’s scream would haunt the school library for weeks to come.
