I'm very glad that you're enjoying it! Yes, this one is different form the old version, with a few little details from the last story added in it. A lot of things are going to be different here, regarding plot, locations, and scenarios that will be leading up to the Nocturnus and Mokata having their folkloric fun in the Blood Moon Kingdom. Also, there's gonna be some scenarios that may be a bit confusing in this series, but all will be explained in an other alternate crossover series somewhat connected to this. One that I will soon be bringing back that will hopefully piece the puzzles of those confusing scenarios together.
Oh, and uh just in case you're wondering, the name 'Selene' that Nocturnus says is actually the deity, or goddess of his kind. A woman deity in greek mythology going by the same name that is said to be the Lunar Goddess of the Moon, which in here, is the Goddess of the Thestrals.
So far the story looks interesting and it is well written, I'm curious to see who is this Mokata.
Oh, a crossover series? Sweet! Is it related to Milky Way? Nice idea including Greek Mythology

Yep, a crossover series that I had up here before but had taken down due to it not being how I wanted it to go sadly. And now, it's not related to Milky Way... kind of. As I stated, there may be some confusing things that will be put in this Clop series that the crossover series I'm planning to bring back will hopefully explain. Except that crossover series will be AU itself with things going differently in that too.

Thank you! I felt that it'd be a nice little addition to this alternate series for the different creatures I'll either be mentioning or showing. I'll be doing the same thing with my crossover stories, only it will not just be with the ponies or thestrals. Griffins, dragons, diamond dogs, sphinxes, kirin, hippgriffs, etc. Each of these species, and more, will have gods and goddesses that I will be mentioning at least once when I get the chance. I chose Selene for the Thestrals because, well... it just felt right. Since Bat Ponies are creatures if darkness I felt like it would be appropriate for their goddess to be one of something related to darkness. Even though, in reality Selene is the Goddess of the Moon, and...you know what I mean

I think you forgot the space between well and aware.

I'm glad you're taking a liking to Mokata! To be honest I was afraid that I didn't succeed into making her the adorable replica of Fluttershy while still giving her her own personality. But, it looks like I was able to accomplish that after all
. Also, yes, Nocturnus is quite lucky indeed to have someone as cute and sweet as Mokata to be with him during the Sugar Pink Moon Festival.

Oh, no need to worry about that. As Clemente had stated near the end of the last chapter, Queen Ambrosia, and the Equestrian Empresses had all signed a peace treaty between each other like, over a decade ago. So the chances of our Vampire Queen attacking Equestria another time is pretty much next to none. Especially with all the allies that Equestrian has behind them: Thestrals, Griffins, Dragons, Diamond Dogs, Perytons, Sphinxes, Kirins, Kelpies, Kitsunes, Rajasthans, Abraxans, Hippogriffs and... Demi-Humans
. So yeah, the Vampire Lords have a lot of potential enemies that will definitely be making them think very hard before they, Ambrosia at least, will be taking on Equestria again
.
Speaking of which, like I stated before, I am planning on making a separate crossover anime/mlp series going more into depth about this. As well as any other events that Nocturnus went through with his friends and his family. I know lots of people may still be a bit confused by it. Even with some of the explanations I've been giving. So that's the partial reason I'm brining back that series, other than the fact I wanna remaster it, though some things will be different. Especially in terms of what specimens will be in Equestria.

I am deeply sorry for the wait I made you go through. You have no idea how much outside stuff I had to deal with before getting to this. At some point, I pretty much had to rewrite nearly the entire thing because I felt I was making the chapter too long and wordy...god that was a horrible time for me. In any case, I'm glad to have gotten it out at last! Writer's block is a bitch!
Indeed it was. I did my very best to not extend it anywhere near as long as I did last time and... looks like it paid off! Clopfic skills are improving little by little!
In truth, and yeah! I did make it look worrying for Nocturnus after he nearly got his skull split open by Mokata throwing that shower brush at him. In her defense though, she did get caught off guard by Nocturnus suddenly just barging in there after hearing her scream and fall. Plus, with the...exposing position she was in... her reaction was sort of expected.
I may have made them look a bit too skilled to be honest. Since they were both virgins before they decided to take that step. Still, some people can find something they're just naturally good at. Even if it is something they're doing for the first time.
More is indeed coming! Just two more chapters left before I head on over to work on the Sequels!
