His dragon, Thatch, stays with the other dragons of Equestria until the time comes to reveal who they truly are. The event in Canterlot, plus an anonymous threat during said event is the cause of Taro's entry.

I see some Potential in this. Just nit-picky stuff now:
1. When you go from teh Story to Author notes, change the Font and/or colour, so the reader knows the difference.
2, Try Spacing your story more, It's easier on the eye and to read. Just add more paragraphs and it should be good.
3. You sent the should have received my letter yesterday!" I think the Underlined words should be deleted and 'Should' changed to Should've (or should have)
