What do I think?! Despite the fact that my physical copy of Devil May Cry 5 won't come until next week, its by far the best of the series!!

I know people like to praised Devil May Cry 3 but this is basically that game but with more to Dante and Vergil's story since they brought Nero into this, and I love the new devil arms that they gave to Dante, I mean he got a f--king badass street bike that can turn into demonic buzzsaws, a hat that puts Applejack's to shame and can be as effective against a crowd of demons while dancing like the King of Pop himself, an 'upgraded' version of Cerberus from Devil May Cry 3, and we get to see him absorbed his sword and his father's sword and not only get a new badass and more bigger sword but a more powerful devil trigger form.

I've read other stories where Rarity uses and secretly abuses Spike's crush for her to get what she wants and breaks his heart by rejecting him when he admits his feelings for her while she ditches Spike to go on a date with a rich, sharp-outfit wearing stallion or ditches her friends just so she can hang out with the rich and famous people, which alone disgusts me because when she commits acts like that, you question yourself is she's really the Element of Generosity.

First of all, yeah Kovu messed up. But the only reason he was brainwashed to begin with is due to Zira's influence on him. And as he got older, he easily bought into it just like Simba did when Scar lead his father to his death, and had Simba believe that he was responsible for his father's death, even before the final battle.

Second. Simba only wants to protect the pridelands and his family. That is why he did what he did, and he just didn't trust Kovu the time. Kiara got through to her father, and sure enough he learned his lesson. And Simba wasn't the only one dealing with crap like that. Others besides Kion, Kovu, Kiara, and possible many others had problems too. As a great man once said: A king's duty is to protect his subjects, never hurt them. Like a knight that follows the code, he too defends the weak, and purges the wicked. It takes a village to run the country, not solely on one man alone.🛡

I can agree on that, but since these lions in this story are anthropomorphic and have possible access to technology hence why Kion has a smartphone with him, there might be a possibility that in response to Kovu not wanting to be a killer, Zira also used mind-controlling drugs on him and his sister to turn them into her own personal, soulless killers, similar to how the CIA did their illegal experiments in project MK ULTRA which makes this much more disturbing. This had some horrible drastic effects as Kovu suffers from some forms of brain damage and not having any proper education, meaning that he's mentally ill and has the mentality of an average fourteen year old, he has the lowest IQ of all of the male lions in the Pride Lands and has some low self-esteem hence why he didn't defend himself while he was being falsely accused.

As for Simba trying to defend his family, him saying something like that sounds a bit hypocritical since he abused and neglected Kion, his biological son in this story, sure Simba is a good king but he's still a terrible father, hell he wanted Kiara to become a queen and forced her to carry the burden of becoming one when she clearly didn't want to be a queen in the first place. As much as Simba loved Kiara, I highly doubt that she ever looked up to Simba just like how he did with Mufasa because she felt like she was nothing more than just an heir to the throne and Simba's replacement. Another reason why Kion hates Simba is because of that, like the Apple family, mostly Applejack, Simba is such a traditionalist that he uses to old ways of monarchy like the first child of the king and\or queen is the heir to the throne, and Simba's so prideful and arrogant that he frequently imposes his values on others and is stubborn when he gets called out on stuff like this, similar to Applejack but worse.

Speaking about Applejack, remember when you said that recommend her to be the next mare in a relationship with Kion because she has a better body to handle him? Well unfortunately that's not gonna happen as many of the subtle and not so subtle interactions Applejack has, she gives off an air that she thinks she better than everyone else and thinks that she's always right, not to mention that she's stubborn to a fault and refuses to listen to reason, even when it hurts others. This is something that Kion doesn't need in his relationship as this could cause his temper and anger to explode with the power of five Tsar Bombas and get into a very heated conflict with the stubborn farm mare, like I said, Kion hates getting angry all the time, but he also hates it when an individual thinks that they're better than everyone else and when they act completely arrogant, stubborn, think that they're always right, and refuse to learn and adapt, so yeah, you were ironically asking to get Kion in a relationship where he gets really pissed off due to increased stress and before you call me out that Kion kissed Applejack back at the spa, let me point it out that he did so out of gratitude as Kion has kissed other women before just out of gratitude because he's just that damn smooth. So no, Kion unfortunately won't be getting in a relationship with Applejack, he probably won't be getting in a relationship with Rainbow Dash either because of her arrogant personality and inflated ego, he can handle Twilight, Jasiri, Fluttershy, and Luna just fine but not AJ and Rainbow.

And as for knights following the code to protect the weak and purges the wicked, well I hate to break it up to you but knights in medieval times weren't noble as media portrayed them, hell they were nothing like that, instead they were arrogant, savage, inhuman brutes who when not in the battlefield, robbed farmers from their lands and in some cases, murder them just because they had the 'right' to and they also committed other horrible atrocities which could be considered war crimes today, a knight named Sir John Arundel and his fellow knights entered a convent and decided to violate the nuns in there and steal some of the riches, then they took the nuns on their ship decided to throw them overboard after they made use of their bodies, and this was during the age of the knight's code of chivalry. Two: Twilight shouldn't be blindly forgiving Shining Armor for what he did, nor she should with Celestia, especially since their incompetence to do their jobs and their refusal to take a threat seriously just because they thought that a wedding was more important than that almost caused Equestria to be conquered by a six foot six, love sucking parasite with a queen complex. If I had a sibling that did that to me and nearly put my home country under a threat just for a retarded reason like a wedding, I personally would never forgive them, even if they did apologize to me, nothing would change and my way of how I look at them would change drastically, instead they would be dead to me. In the original Teen Titans, Slade stated that trust can take time to build but is easy to destroy, and even if someone's related to you, it doesn't matter as you can't blindly forgive a blood relative for their life-threatening sins. If Shining Armor really cared about Twilight and her well-being, than he shouldn't have said any of that wh--e $h!t to her, but no, Shining Armor had to put his wedding first over his sister. God not even the main MLP villains and Scar were that pathetic.

And three: Shining Armor doesn't deserve to get married, after what he and Celestia did back at the wedding, he could be facing charges of reckless endangerment and negligence and given the severity of these charges since this is an entire country we're talking about here, Shining Armor could be sentenced to fifty-three years to life in federal prison. Celestia won't be safe either as she could be facing a sentence worse than Shining Armor since she's supposed to be the ruler of Equestria yet she ignored a threat to the very country that she was ruling. Hell few of the protagonists in MLP: FIM have done some crimes before, for example, Rainbow Dash: child bullying, destroying the weather factory, etc. etc. anything amoral that she's done just to stroke her own f--king ego. Pinkie Pie: home invading and harassment. Applejack: putting children in the hospital due to food poisoning because she refused to get help in farming and child verbal abuse and neglect to her sister and her friends alongside Big Mac just because they were embarrassed of the gossip articles. Starswirl the Bearded: verbally abusing Stygian to the point where Stygian became the Shadow pony. The entirety of Ponyvile: racially discriminating Zecora and bullying the Cutie Mark Crusaders during the Gabby Gums incident in one of the most irritating scenes of hypocrisy ever!!

I can go on and on about this but that'll take too much time, yeah most of these ponies did all these unforgivable acts to the point where if Kion, Jasiri, and Janja saw or hear about this, those ponies are gonna get what's coming to them, a hind paw up their ass.

I'm not trying to offend you or anything but since Shining Armor in this story is trying to 'protect' Twilight from a certain redheaded teen lion cub, he's basically antagonizing Kion and his friends and family not just because Shining Armor's a racist, but because he's both jealous and afraid that Kion could be the better and more mature man and a better protector for Twilight and her friends and family than the blue maned unicorn stallion ever was. 🛡

Twilight might be able to reunite her sibling relationship with Shining Armor if he sincerely apologizes for abandoning her at the wedding rehearsal, forcing her to get into a romantic relationship with most of the guard stallions against her own will, including hooking her up with a certain bland-as-f--k Pegasus guard for petty reasons, trying to ruin her romantic relationship with Kion, calling Jasiri and Janja 'dirty dogs' which is a racial slur for a hyena, etc.

Twilight might forgive him if he did eight things:

1: Resign his rank as Captain of the Royal Guard because he probably got it on a silver platter from Celestia herself instead of earning it with blood, sweat, and tears like the actual military and doesn't deserve that rank.

2: Stop controlling Flurry Heart's life.

3: Stop interfering with Twilight's romantic business.

4: Apologize to Jasiri and Janja for his racist behavior, Jasiri might forgive him but Janja might hold a bit of a grudge against him.

5: Apologize to Kion for his behavior towards the redheaded cub, even though it would hurt Shining Armor's ego, Twilight's forgiveness would be more important to Shining Armor than ego. And Shining Armor should apologize to Kion for insulting Rani as that insult could've caused the redheaded cub to kill him.

6: If Kion hangs out with Cadence, Shining Armor should not jump into conclusions and interfere out of jealousy. I personally don't think that Shining Armor deserve Cadence if he's gonna become possessive of her and restrict her from simply talking to other guys, as this amount of uncontrollable jealousy is a sign of unhealthy love.

7: Erase Fluttershy's 'criminal record'.

And 8: Resign from his position as Ruling Prince of the Crystal Empire because Shining Armor is an idiot and not the perfect pony to rule a nation. Twilight isn't fit to rule a country either despite that she's a lot smarter than Shining Armor, this is what pissed me off about Celestia retiring and giving Twilight the responsibility of ruling Equestria, Celestia doesn't deserve retirement and Twilight should not deal with the stress of an occupation that is shoved into her face. Thank God for Kion and Sarabi as they were not having that, as what Kion said, "Just because you're an alicorn, doesn't mean you have to be a princess.", another thing, idiots and self-important assholes should not be given political and\or governmental power as it would give them the mentality that they're above everything and they can do whatever they want.

And don't bring Tara Strong, Lauren Faust, or any of the MLP team into this. Lauren Faust had written "Everyone knows its Bendy" which was not only one of the worst episodes of Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, but one of the worst episodes in animation history, even though Lauren herself said that she regretted writing the episode. Plus not to sound like a d-ck but most of the writers of MLP who tried to write episodes of serious issues for the show are cowards, because they're so scared of the censorship, they tried to tackle a heavy subject like suicide and self-harm but they chicken the f--k out by not discussing said heavy subjects properly. This pisses me off because I suffer from mental health issues and the way how these writers handle these topics by either sugarcoating it or not giving a good explanation is really offensive to me. But I didn't chicken out like a bitch, I tackle a serious issue like post traumatic stress disorder, depression, abuse, neglect, bullying, discrimination, losing a loved one, self-harm, and suicide properly. And as for you saying that Tara Strong and Lauren Faust not approving of me making Shining Armor an unlikable asshole, what about Ponyvile Confidential where the ponies of Ponyvile including the main 6 shuned the CMCs for writing stories about them despite the fact that they like Gabby Gums, making the ponies in Ponyvile nothing but unforgivable hypocrites, or any of the worst episodes in general? What about the fan series The Conversion Beriu where Celestia's a genocidal racist and the main 6 are nothing but dogs who blindly believe what she says, how in the flying f--k would you think that Tara Strong and Lauren Faust would react to that?!

And Shining Armor is a character that I'm not interested in, nor that I will be because he's not really interesting as a character, the only thing that stands out is that he's Twilight's brother and he can do that magic bubble shield, everything else about him is that he's basically a Prince charming stereotype and hasn't done much in the show, and when he does do something, he gets washed. I mean come on, he's a jobber like Celestia but worse, he's a useless, mediocre character who's trying way too hard to be the brave, noble, and handsome warrior and failing. Speaking about handsomeness, compare to Kion and Dante (the real Dante, not the emo crack-addicted prick from the godawful DmC reboot), Shining Armor doesn't look that attractive. I mean not to sound like I'm gay but I think both Kion and Dante look hell of a lot more sexier than Shining Armor, especially since Kion's muscular built, semi-deep, mature voice, soft, golden yellow fur, beautiful, amber brown eyes, and firey red mane would make most girls sweat, but its his caring, open-minded, but clinically sad and angry personality and his heartbreaking and tragic past that makes him stand out, and him wanting to help out the innocent no matter what species they are, despite that he's the one who also needs help. As for Dante, despite his cocky personality, he inspires everyone he comes in contact with and inspires them to better themselves, which what makes Dante one of the coolest characters in video games.

Take my time to calm myself down and when the crusaders tell me that they're sorry for what they've done, I'll talk to them sympathetically and asked them what caused them to do what they did in the first place, like a mature adult.

And no, those ponies have no right to shun those fillies, the reasons why the crusaders did it is because the ponies like reading the gossip articles of Gabby Gums so the crusaders thought that it would be a good idea to become gossip photographers, and when they realized that were doing something wrong, Diamond Tiara, being the bratty, manipulative c-nt that she is [or was] forced the crusaders to continue writing gossip stories against their own will.

It didn't help that Rainbow Dash wanted a story about herself and Rarity enjoys gossip since they were both fans of the Gabby Gums gossip and guess what? Rainbow got her story and Rarity got gossiped herself. How did Rainbow Dash thank the crusaders? By dropping a f--king rain cloud just because it wasn't and I quote 'the story she wanted', and her inflated ego was hurt and her pathetic reputation was ruined.

Rarity got mad because her diary was in one of the gossips, but she's a hypocrite because before she got into the gossips and when she tripped on Sweetie Belle's school bag, she 'tried' to not dig into Sweetie Belle's bag but did so anyway, plus Rarity's possibly the type of mare that would gossip anyway so she got what she deserve.

And Applejack and Big Mac... My God, the way of how they treated their little sister and what Big Mac said to her was f--king disgusting and filled my heart with pain, anger, and hate, not to the crusaders, to both Applejack and mostly Big Mac because what Big Mac said to Applebloom and her friends is considered child mental abuse. Now children are mentally vulnerable and if you as a parent or guardian says something so mean to an innocent child, they'll think that you don't love them anymore and it would cause them to develop mental disorders like depression. I'm sure that Kion would get extremely pissed off at all of the ponies who shun the crusaders, and get more pissed off at Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Big Mac for mentally abusing them. Kion would either break Rainbow's wings or worse, brutally ripped them from their sockets for dropping a rain cloud on the crusaders, break Applejack's muzzle and legs for choosing her pride and ego over her sister, and Big Mac would suffer the worst as Kion would use either some of the tools in the Apple Farm or his bare paws to savagely beat Big Mac up so bad that Big Mac would either fall into a seven month coma or worse, die from his injuries because the last thing that Kion wants is innocent children like the crusaders to suffer the same fate that he did when he was just a kid.

I love kids and I have a niece and nephew whom I love, and personally I think that the crusaders deserve better role models and parental figures than ponies who care more about their own pride and ego than the children in their care. I don't give a flying f--k if those ponies where humiliated, l don't tolerate child abuse and that episode proves that there are adults who are more stupid than the children and are too self-centered to understand that they can also be in the wrong as well.

As for me not updating for awhile, well I've been playing Devil May Cry 5 non-stop, helping my mom babysit my niece and nephew, I'm suffering from writer's block, and I've been drawing four characters for this story, the four being Kion, Twilight, Makucha, and Chuluun.

While I did kept Chuluun's original design with the exception of her being anthropomorphic like the rest of the characters in the story, Kion, Twilight, and Makucha were the only ones of the four drawings, for Kion, l added a few more loose strands of his red hair which partially covered his right eye, I added some faint scars on his chest, arms, and right leg but a few of them are barely visible, and I made him a bit more muscular than how l described him in the story, for Twilight, instead of drawing her show or movie-accurate, l gave her an anime design but I obviously still kept her as a plantigraded anthropomorphic pony like in the story and not a human, I kept her mane the same as it was in both the show and the movie but I made the back part of her mane long enough that it reaches the upper part of her butt and made it flow in the wind [anime logic], gave her well-shaped eyebrows that are the same color as her mane and tail, unlike her show-accurate counterpart, her wings are more angelic and the lower feathers have more colors that suit her, her finger and toenails have purple nail polish on them, and I gave her a busty, hourglass figure, in short I made Twilight an angelic demi-goddess, and for Makucha, he's as muscular as I described him in the story and I gave him a few scars from his time in the front lines before he became a supersoldier.

However, most of the drawings are just them in their underwear with the exception of Chuluun who also wears her specially designed helmet and protective eyemask but l left her muzzle mask to the side and I added her fingerless gloves, and Makucha wearing only his fingerless and and his navy blue and black military style pants and boots, just like in the scene where he was imprisoned in Canterlot.

Hi new member to Fimfiction. So far this story is pretty depressing. Has some good stuff in it though. Not gonna I lie I fully agree with You Blacklight that Shining armor committed reckless endangerment by putting his own wedding before the safety of equestria( who am I kidding that’s high treason😱) and was a dick to disown his sister but him being a complete arrogant B**** to his family in this alternate timeline is completely contradictory to what he is in the hasbro productions( however thats not to say I don’t disagree in the fact that hasbro directors are cowards in addressing real life dilemmas and problems). Look...... all I’m saying is, please don’t ruin this guy. If anything I learned from spies in disguise if we fight fire with fire we ALL get burned. There isn’t any good guys or bad guys just people (and in this case ponies, lions,jackals,hyenas, etc..) worth saving. I’m on antidepressants too(and judging from the amount of commercials for Latuda, cymbota, Zoloft, and Prozac, a third of all America for that matter) so you’re not alone in this. I’m a firm believer in God and that he sent his son Jesus to die for our sins to ensure that all who renounce their sins and believe in him will not perish but have everlasting life, and that all he made are good, gave us a free will, and that those who commit evil with said free will, without remorse, do so of their own choice absolving god of responsibility. Surely there is some good in Shining armor that even you can address?

As for Shining Armor, I've been doing a lot of thinking recently about his character in the story, maybe I've been bashing him for the sins that he committed for far too long, so I'll give him a chance. But that doesn't mean I'll forgive him for what he'd done and NOT apologizing, so he'll have to work for forgiveness since he's still Twilight's brother.

Speaking about treason, did you remember that Celestia also committed reckless endangerment just for the sake of the wedding? If anything, Celestia's just as responsible for letting the changeling invasion happen as Shining Armor is.

And another thing, most of the main 6, let alone most of the ponies in Equestria have irritable inequalities that make them worst characters instead of simple flawed characters.

Applejack is a stubborn mare who prideful and thinks she's all perfect, she forces her opinions down on other people's throats and at times refuses to admit what she did wrong. She's also the definition of a redneck as she is closed-minded and a bit of a racist. [Example being the incident with Zecora and in this story when Applejack got bitch slapped by Jasiri for calling Janja a dirty dog.]

Rainbow Dash is literally ego incarnate. She was supposed to be the G4 version of Firefly but instead Rainbow Dash became the pony version of the Scout from Team Fortress 2, basically a character who thinks she's cool to the point that its annoying as hell. Someone that I don't want to be friends with, not to mention that she has little regrets on pouring a rain cloud on innocent children and being a hypocrite. No wonder why people call her Rainbow Trash.

Rarity is the type of mare that wants to be like the Canterlot elite but we already know how the rich in Canterlot act. Despite being the Element of Generosity, she sometimes does generous things if it benefits her own self-interests and agendas [remember Ticket Master?] and she sometimes acts like a stereotypical stuck up bitch who harshly criticizes your manners or what you wear, even if its basic clothing, has an intolerable fear of getting dirty, forces others to carry her stuff for her while she doesn't help, and being more romantically interested with the fancy, rich, and\or royal types, basically the 'if you can't afford me, you're not my proper coltfriend' type, a reason why Rarity was threatened by Sarabi.

I don't have much to say about Pinkie Pie, She can be funny at times but she can also be unbearably annoying. I just hope that Janja keeps her on a very short leash, sorry if I sound like a South Park BDSM episode.

Fluttershy barely has any bad traits so I can't say too much.

The one problem I have with Twilight is that she basically was Celestia's most loyal follower who barely question the sun monarch and does what Celestia tells her to do. Plus due to Celestia expecting a lot from her student, Twilight has a hard time dealing with unexpected stress, so much so that she gets so stressed that she accidentally makes situations worst before she tries to fix them, whether it being a simple 'friendship' test or saving Equestria because in reality, Celestia's too much of a weak and incompetent ruler that instead of doing her job properly, she sends Twilight and her friends to do the job for her.

Kion's not the only fanfic protagonist that has called out on Celestia's 'my faithful students and friendship can solve all of my problems ' bull$h!t and he certainly will never be the last. Hell in one of my favorite fanfics that I've read, Slade Joseph Wilson [Deathstroke] said that Celestia was nothing but a weak ruler who expects others to do her work for her.

Another thing is that this fic isn't just about a character who's suffering from depression, its also about said character who's also fighting in a devastating, soul-crushing war that is his life.

Damn, I've heard that Crohn's disease is not good to have, but it's a good thing that you're okay.

1: As for having the massive amounts of weapons, viruses, and other super powers, I'm pretty sure you would be turned into an unstable, biological mess instead of being a god. They're consequences of mixing things that don't mix.

2: The current story is doing good. The next chapter is half complete but I've been editing the previous chapters and dealing with stuff in my life. But as for the Prototype crossover, I'm not interested in continuing it.

3: You're right, Vitani is a really underrated character. She deserves more attention.

4: I Like DMC5, but the problem I have with it is that it doesn't have vital and devil stars and\or holy water like the previous games. I haven't played Doom: Eternal, so I don't have much to say.

5: I don't know what would happen to Zira but neither of those choices you listed for her would likely happen.

11: If I was gonna make a Red Hood storyline for this story, the character I'll choose to be the 'Red Hood' type character would be Rani. But that's a big 'if' because if Kion finds out that Rani survived, he would be self-forced to choose whether to stay in Gaia with Twilight and the other mares or go back to London with Rani, and I don't want to do that to him. Plus Rani doesn't want her family to think that she faked her own death on purpose.

12: That cobra [forgot his name but I don't care to double check] doesn't exist in this story.

Plus in this story, Kion never got his eye scars from a cobra bite, he got them from Simba.

Another thing, both The Lion Guard Kion and Tears Of Rage Kion are two very different characters with different personalities and abilities.
