A Davy Crockett rocket launcher OUCH the only one I knew of never saw actual service it was as dangerous to the user as the intended target. It was a small nuclear device and incredibly inaccurate

9826037 Its canceled for how shit it is, DisplacedWriter pretty much got it down to a T, its almost like the author didn't sit down, get the idea they wanted for the story, make a document with all of their ideas for their story, iron it out and throw away things that wouldn't go with it or toss out things that just won't make sense.

If you want to write stories you need to have a plan. Not only will you need an idea for what your story will be about you also need to iron out as many details as possible for both the characters, the world setting, method with how you are going to go about doing it and at least the first three chapters must be fluidly connected so it all makes sense and isnt just a pile of cold spaghetti on the floor.

Yeesh, two days in and you cancelled it. My in-progress chapter has more words than this entire story and I sure as hell didn't cancel that because it made no sense.

I guess that's what happens when you have a "SUPER COOL IDEA" for a fanfiction, get to writing it then realise it's trash.

This is exactly why you want to write more than 1000 word chapters, people. Being content at the bare minimum promotes laziness. Laziness begets laziness and eventually you just end up leading people on with the promise of something you never follow up on because you never had a plan for it.

Then again, maybe it's for the best. Because yikes this needs at least a proofread and a lot more paragraphing than it does. People spend so much time writing these things without a thought that they never think about if they should in the first place.

TL;DR: Have some dedication and at least have a plan, if not for yourself, then for whoever decides that they want to see more.
