Bravo, a moving short story with a good theme. 5 stars from me!

its well written. im kinda confused about why the guy skipped years in his journal and still kept it around, but hey, it worked.:derpytongue2: personally, im not a fan of the premise of the story, but hey, im not gonna let that bother me. you did a good job, and for that, you win several moustache spikes. :moustache::moustache::moustache::moustache::moustache: :facehoof: hahaha you can have some stars too.

That's how it turned out at least, I had originally planned for it to be more ambiguous as to whether he was being discriminated against or was just crazy.

I tried to justify the skipping with the opening line about it being charred.

The reason I wrote this was because I wanted to write a story involving an unreliable narrator, though he turned out perhaps more reliable than I intended. But it still works as fiction so I decided I might as well go with it.

Anyways, thanks to everyone who read it! :yay:

badass, though I can't see this being continued.

im just wondering, don't earth ponies have endurance and strength? well nevermind the teacher was just a racist bitch (may Aponyllon torment her soul forever and ever in the name of out gods Celestia and Luna)

I've heard they do, but outside of Applejack and Big Mac, I can't think of a time that came up.

Also, I should give a shout-out to Lynolius, who's story Heroes and Allies helped inspire this, even if indirectly...

Also, image uploaded and I continue to be pleasantly surprised by the positive response to this :yay:

65080 OOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHH that makes much more sense now :pinkiecrazy:
