Well this is a fun story so far, I feel that the story is off on a good start and settled a most of the issues or questions that a reader might wonder of the inner workings of the world, like the test of how to joining another clan, or leaning a little more about the other commanders back story more, along with tidbits about the history of the clans about Equestria (which is a massive improvement), like Obsidian who is the best character in the story as a mentor sort of character. For Discord, I wonder what is his plan for vengeance against Celestia, through I wonder what he seems to have against Equestria or it's government or even Vengeance who was created by the destruction of three ponies and ordered to kill all ponies, or is it ordered to rule to undermined it, not clear how it would managed that. I do like the idea that Discord is evil again, though I wonder if it for revenge against all ponies or is it just the exhilaration of being at full power again. I wonder if Celestia knew that Discord is lose or that she saw something else that needed her direct attention more.
So far I really love the test Sundance and the other have to go trough and I love the details you putting into it, keep up the good work.
I wonder how the story will develop.

It's one of the upgrades made to the 'Mechs. It'll be explained more in a later chapter, but basically the neurohelmet is integrated into the cockpits of Clan Ghost Bear 'Mechs for my fic.

Sorry for missing the last few chapters, I was busy to move to another place. As for the story I think it's shaping up in many different way interesting ways. I I wonder what will be Discord's game in all of this and how Summer going to play in all of this, sense he has nothing to do with Equestria or Celestia in anyway, and I am not sure his mech could do anything again Discord, not matter how powerful it is. I wonder how Summer and the others will deal with becoming Ghost Bears and what they will think of the Clan members in general and if it's really a step up of what they were before or if the cause they will serve for their commanders is worth fighting for. I though that the survival ritual was interesting and was great character development for all the characters, which allows the reader to flush out their personalities. Can'T wait to see what will come next in the story.
Still want history of how the clans and the innersphere came to be. Especially house loyalty ending up with the clans

My next big fic in the FiMTech universe I have planned is a sort of prequel explaining how everything started, but that has a tentative release date of late 2020 since I still have part 3 to do after this is done.
I think I might actually be able to fit in a little bit of their history soon, though. Probably chapter 11. I have a good spot planned out where I think I can squeeze in some history. Hopefully I can do it without making the chapter too boring.

Unlike Nightmare Moon you don't have control over the bearers. So finding loyalty was a shot in the dark.
But i feel Shadow is behind alot of this. Maybe even the creation of the clans. So much history I want to know.
I feel that too many things going right for Shadow and how did he get Generosity since he clear isn't a match for it.

It's no fun if the protagonists win easily. Even so, things aren't going quite as well for Shadow as they seem. If you read carefully through the scene where Shadow and Twilight are talking, there are a few sentences that seem like they should be significant, but then get immediately glossed over. I'll put what I'm talking about in spoilers in case anyone else reading this wants to find it for themselves.
As for how Shadow inherited the Element of Generosity, it's been hinted at a few times that he was a very different pony when he was younger. Twilight even guesses at that when she says,
Centuries is an immense amount of time for people / ponies to change. Had Shadow ever needed to use his Element after his corruption it would have been clear to everyone that he's not worthy of it anymore, but luckily for him The Elements hadn't been needed during that time. I actually have something for that particular Element planned, but it's a long way off. Probably at the end of part three.
I could make a one-shot talking about Shadow's rise and fall at some point. I'll admit I haven't put a huge amount of thought into his backstory, but there are a lot of possibilities that I could make into a story.

Though honestly I feel bad for Rarity's line losing Genrosity.

The Inner Sphere does have ER tech, they're just not as good as the Clan versions. I think in lore the Inner Sphere ER lasers do less damage and have shorter range, and their ER PPC does two thirds the damage of its Clan counterpart.
I have that story planned for after part three.

Are you sure? Sarna has different stats for Inner Sphere and Clan ER weapons, and it also says they're manufactured on Inner Sphere planets by Inner Sphere companies. The Grand Dragon's ER PPC specifically was a Lord's Light 2 made by Alashain Weapons on Tok Do, a planet controlled by the Draconis Combine since 2571.

Played mechwarrior 4 and the RE was always clan specific with innersphere being the standard stuff.
Inner sphere: weighs more and shorter range.
Clan: extended range (hence ER) weighs less but heats up more

Ah, that explains it. I think MechWarrior 4 is generally considered even more apocryphal than the other games (another example from MW4 is how you can mount a Heavy Gauss Rifle in a 'Mech's arm, when in lore firing a Heavy Gauss is powerful enough that even if mounted in the arm of an assault 'Mech, the limb will effectively be ripped off), so I use Sarna for all that stuff.
