While Booker had a normal foalhood, he hit a rough patch in high school that he'd really rather forget. Now an adult and finally graduated he moves to Ponyville, hoping to put it all behind him and discover his purpose. What he actually ends up finding, however, is friendship and a true love that change him in more ways than he could have ever imagined.

Set about a year or two before s9e26 of Friendship is Magic. And yes, there are heavy references to the band "My Chemical Romance" in the story.

Ponyville's pegasi prepare for a large storm to mitigate the temperatures of a passing heat wave. However, misplaced clouds from a clumsy pegasus cause strong winds that push Rainbow Dash's house all the way into the Everfree Forest, where it is completely destroyed. Now homeless, Rainbow choses to move in with Applejack, who will need the company since Granny Smith is on her last legs.

Set about fifteen years before "The Last Problem"

I purposefully left the husband nameless and descriptionless so the reader can imagine him as whatever pony or OC they want.

MLP Forums NaPoWriMo submission for Booker. The story I originally wanted to submit for this was way too long (It's finished now. Read it here). This story is kind of a precursor to that one, but this one can still be read on its own without missing out on anything.

Dreadwing is a magical creature who feeds from the energy of foals who have yet to earn their cutie mark. After finishing with his previous host he moves on to Scootaloo, a young pegasus who can't fly. As usual, he absorbs the intense emotions present in the mind of the filly. Unlike all the other foals he's seen, however, the strongest thing he can feel in her mind isn't happiness, excitement, or anything vaguely positive. It's despair.

This cruel being who knew nothing but stealing joy from young foals for the millennium he's been alive looks into why Scootaloo is so unhappy for such a young filly. It just so happens that ponies have a darker side than even he had ever witnessed, and despite being what he was, he realized there were monsters out there worse than he.

Rainbow Dash thought it would be funny to pull another "harmless" prank on the town of Ponyville, and ends up flooding the place instead. When will she learn her lesson?
