I'm actually pretty close to finishing part 2 of FiMTech. I know it's been over half a year since the last chapter was released, and I make no excuses; I'm lazy and have things I'd rather be doing. However, I do still write every now and then. I love this series and want to see it completed someday. No telling how long that will take considering the number of titles I have planned for it, but whatever.

Chapter 13 of The War of Annihilation is basically just 5.7k words of dialogue. I can't help but think that's a bit much, but at the same time I don't think I could have made it much shorter while still fully preparing for the next (and final) chapter. Well, the ending should be exciting enough to make up for that, so hopefully it's not too unforgivable. My stories are usually dialogue heavy, anyway.

I've had a bit on my mind the past week and it's kept me from writing anything. I'll try to get back to it at some point. I'm sitting on almost 20k words of a story that I need to proofread so I can submit it, but I just don't have the motivation to do it yet. Soon. Once that's done I'll get back to FiMTech.

So I just learned of a glorious thing called National Pony Writing Month (NaPoWriMo) which takes place during the entire month of November, so I'm gonna be working on that for the next few weeks once the theme is announced. I'm gonna post the entire story all at once, so expect me to go dark on Fimfic for a while. More FiMTech to come once that's all over.

So, the finale aired earlier today and the show is over. Episodes 24 and 25 were great in my opinion with plenty of twists I never saw coming. It was almost a perfect sendoff. A more epic final battle, and it couldn't have been much better.

Sorry about how long it's taking me to write this next chapter of FiMTech. Of course there was my thumb injury to start with, but it was healed enough to type somewhat after a little over a week. It's taking so long because my stress level is kind of at a point where I don't have much motivation to write, and I'm not getting much inspiration, either. Sorry about that, but the chapter should be out in about a week or so. Should. I've got a few higher priority things that need to get done. This

So, this afternoon while greasing the chain on my e-bike, it grabbed the rag I was using and pulled my thumb between it and the gear. The gear punctured my thumbnail and I bled everywhere, and it hurt like a bitch. Luckily, though, I don't think my thumb is broken. It's really difficult and painful to type like this, however, so I don't know if I'll be able to do any writing. We'll see what happens. Hopefully it heals soon.

I've begun working on chapter 6 again now that BronyCon is done and I have time. I went to some panels while I was there and picked up a few things, so hopefully I can start improving my writing more.

Expect the chapter to be released at some point within the next week or two, depending on how much energy I have to spare. I'm still pretty wiped out.
