Chapter 13 of The War of Annihilation is basically just 5.7k words of dialogue. I can't help but think that's a bit much, but at the same time I don't think I could have made it much shorter while still fully preparing for the next (and final) chapter. Well, the ending should be exciting enough to make up for that, so hopefully it's not too unforgivable. My stories are usually dialogue heavy, anyway.
I think I'll stick with the same pattern as the last FiMTech story, where the final chapter is massive and will release with the epilogue (I'll try to break it up better this time so that there's more places to stop. I feel like not everyone wants to read 12k+ words in one sitting). Expect it to take a little longer than usual because of that. I'm always more motivated to write epic battles than I am something like this last chapter, but at the same time this will be a lot more words to write.
Hm. I wonder if I'll break the 100k word mark on this story.
