So uh, the final chapter is ridiculously long. Like, over 20k words long. Obviously that's too much, so I'm splitting it into two chapters.
Good news next - all of the writing is done (except for the epilogue, but that's basically done). I'll edit and proofread the first half, release that tomorrow, then finish up the epilogue, edit and proofread that and the second half of the last chapter, and release them together next weekend. The second half is about 12k words of fighting, so that's exciting.
I've also decided to go through with my plan to redo part one of this story. Now that I've fleshed out the universe a lot more in my head, I think I can incorporate much much more world building into the story, and create something actually worth reading this time around. Part three will have to wait, but it's not going anywhere.
I also started working on an encyclopedia for the series, basically just a wiki that only I can edit. That would let me incorporate a lot more of my ideas without making the stories too boring with all the technical details (stuff like magic weapons and my own 'Mech designs. I do have some stuff along those lines planned). People who want to know that sort of stuff can look it up, everyone else can just read the story. It's been kind of a background thing that I add to as I come across things while writing that I feel need more background info. I'll post a link to that once it has enough content.
