The long flight has bored Rainbow Dash to tears, but she has no desire to play cards with Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle and Lemon Drop. Only with an enticing story can she hope to survive the long trip to Cowlick Station intact, and Pinkie has just the story.
Long ago, in the seedy underground of Coruscant's bustling cityscape, Pinkie Pie won a championship card game with a prize pool of millions of credits. When some greedy, vengeful thugs try to relieve her of the winnings, she flees into the heart of the city. Exhausted and on the run, with no weapons to fight back with, she attempts to turn to the only ponies in the world that can help her: mercenaries. Thieves, lowlifes and slum dwellers with the instinct and cunning to escape the undercity intact. Ponies with the street smarts needed to survive and the tools needed to thrive.
But as luck would have it, she finds Lemon Drop instead...

Yeah know, I never really cared for Pinkie Pie that much but after this update I think it's safe to say that she is best pony.

I have that issue as well. One of the first people to read mine disliked it and it just irks me that I don't know who or why.
As a small update preceding the next chapter, I've added the Romance tag to this story. I don't plan on actually getting to any serious romance, but there are many romantic themes that do undeniably appear in the texts to follow. I feel obligated to add the tag as a result.

Lemon and Pinkie are so cute. This story works even outside of Star Wars since in many ways the Star Wars fluff is relatively lite. I am enjoying this and hope to see more soon.

Part 3 will be the last part, unfortunately, with a very short cliffhanger epilogue. This was meant to be a very short project, just to add some flavor to my little universe with MLOR. The real juicy part happens very soon, when I introduce Rarity and AJ. The first chapter of that is already in revision, and it's a throwdown from the get-go~

Also I'm hoping the next time we see Lemon drop he will be a proper Scoundrel(as a pose to Pinkie's Gunslinger

Lemon's "class" is undefined. He specializes in blaster rifles, so I figured he was more of an Agent type. In all seriousness, Lemon is exactly what Corso Riggs is to the Smuggler in terms of the game, much like how Twilight is Rainbow Dash's Aric Jorgan. Twilight and Lemon both play the role of Companion Characters. The only reason I give Lemon and extra attention is because his backstory and Pinkie's are not only shrouded in mystery, but also intertwined. If they hadn't been partners before The Ord Mantell Deception, I would not have given them the 15,000 words they got.

I decided to reread this story again and I am glad I did.
Pinkie and Lemon are both so vulnerable and it is so classic that every time they try to clean up and end things (or start things) the world conspires against them (such as in the end when they are going to go on their first date and of course a jedi stops them). This is so classic Star Wars especially those of Han Solos ilk (which are my favorite types in Star wars Jedi get all the press but the smugglers/bounty hunters/etc are the best).
I know your first story was turned down for being "unoriginal" or some other silly reason like that (as if that site does not have cross overs all the time?) but this I assume is 100% original (outside of the Star Wars theme) and I think this is the sort of story that deserved the accolades. Your other stories were fun and interesting but this one is special. This story is all about characters and you did a great job of making them come alive in this story. Pinkie is playful but also romantic in her own way. Lemon is conflicted and has to make a hard choice. Both are very vulnerable characters and you can't help but cheer and root for them. You have them down to where I could see a series where part of the fun is hoping to see them get together sort of like Buffy?angle or the show Bones for instance.
In particular I like how you made me like a Pinkie pairing with an OC which is normally very hard to do. Lemon is portrayed just right as an OC and he has enough personality that I feel like I know his character and you see him for only two stories. They feel like a good couple and you want to see them succeed.
I really do hope you continue your series, specifically the one with Pinkie and Lemon. I have a feeling the idea would be to cross over some of the jedi with it (perhaps Rarity and AJ?) and if you do I hope you take a lot of care keeping the non-jedi interesting. In other words don't pull an episode 1/2/3 and rather go for more of an episode 4/5/6 feel towards the characters at least that is how I feel.
