Oh, she did bring that up, both to Discord and Celestia (she tried to stop him, even) - but as Celestia said, pain experienced in a dream is immediate but not at all lasting once the person wakes up. They just have a summative sense of the experience (much like in real life dreams). She also noticed (to her horror) Miles laughing and enjoying the experience, and so the concept of him being harmed is lessened even further, as he will likely look back on the summative experience of the dream fondly.

But yes, Luna does have an ego - especially concerning her beloved night. While Miles is sentient, he's actually more than that on account of sapience. So Discord's actions are possibly a little more suspect, even in the face of the above reasoning!

Another brilliant chapter and a dream I'd be glad to wake up from.
