I liked the solution o using links to explain who some of the background pony characters used are.
Maybe I should start using that as well, everytime I write about the background pony Rainbowshine I get somebody telling me "you mean Rainbow Dash, right?"

Yeah, most fics grab the most known BG ponies, Lyra, Bon Bon, Cloud Kicker, Vinyl, Octavia...
There are so many severely underused ponies.. I searched in the database and chose two pegasi whose design really impacted me. In fact I had to drop some, such as Blossomforth because they don't seem to be active as weather ponies, though I suppose they could be called for emergencies ala Hurricane Fluttershy.
