Ardi the wolf is hiding out in Ponyville from an angry dragon and enraged ponies. Oh, and he's disguised as Rarity. AND a fear of Changelings and other monsters pretending to be ponies stalks the land. What could possibly go wrong?
9168031 Thank you! No offense, I may eventually post a list, but for now I'd like to leave it as a challenge to other readers to see if they can guess, if they want to that is.
9168088 Ha, ha, ha, okay, I'm already working on something, might need a bit though.
9168207 Honestly, I just couldn't figure out what picture would go with this, plus it was a first time, hopefully the readers will let this ride just this once?
I've always wanted to write something like this! Must say, very happy to read it. Closest I got was a ponified WW1 poet in a short story of mine. Didn't do too well.
9180069 Well, no pony writes with the same style, so it's no biggie if what you create is different that what I or any other artist creates. I like your work, glad that you are enjoying mine.
I think it’s a shame there are not more poems on this site, especially those of such high quality. All flowed really nicely with a steady rhythm and fit each of the characters snugly, but without sounding forced.
Now I’m curious, what were the original poems? Since I’ve read just a few untranslated pieces of English and American poetry, there is just a sliver of a chance that I’ll be acquainted with any of these
9405540 Right, I did say something about posting the names of the originals didn't I? Okay, here goes.
The Charge of the Light Brigade - Tennyson (Pinkie Pie) The Village Blacksmith - Longfellow (Apple Jack) Trees - Kilmer (Twilight Sparkle) Ruby - Emerson (Spike) Heart of Oak - Boyce/Garrick (The Cutie Mark Crusaders) Ain't She Sweet - Ager/Yellen (Rarity) Ode to Joy - Beethoven/Schiller (Rainbow Dash) Cliffs of Dooneen - Trad. Irish song (Flutter Shy)
It is an interesting read. Although I know the first one, which is The Charge of the Light Brigade, Lord Alfred Tennyson, I don't know the others.

I suspect I would have enjoyed it more if I was English, but still, this was time well spent
