I just mentioned once that I wanted to live in a city. I didn't want Twilight to change all the bucking towns in Equestria into cities! Now, I'm stuck in this world with a bunch of lowlifes, and criminals. And it looks like it's up to me to restore order to our land. My day officially sucks.

I seem to recall you saying that on my last story. Which went 3 chapters until I hit writer's block, and then got rejected by EQD, and ended up scrapping the whole project. Right now, I'm seriously hoping that my story is uninteresting, inane, and awful.

Well, a few pointers.
One, embellish your world a little, the readers have six senses, use them.
Two, it is sorta telly, so you might want to look up the Show vs Tell rules.
Three, who said what isn't always clear, a few 'X said's would fix that right up!
