I roll my eyes at Tonya running away. She feels bad about what she did but unless it's undone she is guilty of using blatant mind control. Twice now, once used to goad someone into killing someone else. Is this what it means to be a pony for her? Especially since she spurned Luna's connection. It just makes her look like a villain, and I can't say that misunderstanding is exactly wrong the longer this goes on.
Was it deserved in both cases? You can argue that it was, but Tonya isn't the one who alone should be judge, jury, and executioner on messing with others' lives to fit her ideals. It's too ripe for abuse, even if it wasn't meant, she is avoiding taking responsibility for it.
I was expecting a repeat of Theresa and Tom from the other story the way things were going, then Tonya swoops in and does some serious mindfucking. She has a serious problem and she has to realize it now.
Looking back on what Tonya's exact wording, I can't find fault in any of the commands given, except for the fact that it's blatant mind control. All of those desires are fair to have and if it was done of their own free will the change in outlook would be laudable. That just makes the process of trying to reverse it kinda tragic, even worse to enjoy the benefits of it because she'll know the entire time it's a manipulation (unless she goes around the bend to becoming a real villain), and avoiding them out of guilt would just compound the problem.
In short, it's the ponification messing with people's minds level of manipulation, here. Tonya has inadvertently altered others like Sunset Shimmer did with the Tanner family and Fred Turner, no matter the reasons behind either of their actions, even if the change was for the better.

The question is whether she even has the ability to undo what she did. She admitted to Phobia that she doesn't really know what she's doing.
Also, her running and not dealing with responsibility seems very much in character for her at this point. It was even highlighted earlier in the chapter that she can't seem to deal with responsibility. She wasn't doing her job as lead pegasus and she gave the job away to the first pony she could think of as soon as she git tired of it, leaving Amber to have to play catch up on all the things Tonya should have been doing and wasn't.
She really needs Luna or Phobia to take her by the neck and drill some responsibility into her. Sunset Blessing sure isn't, Sunset Blessing all but encourages this behavior.
Ouch Tonya really needs some Equestrian help and hopefully she can get it before she does something that she can't undo. Another good point is that at least she is horrified that this is the second time she has misused her powers and the first unintentional one that we know of.
I want to see more of her choices before I think she will be a villain. From here on out she has got to be finding out just what her powers are and just how to use them.

I can't help but wonder if she can't use her power on herself towards that exact purpose. That's the kind of harebrained scheme I could see these ponies trying to do while avoiding consulting others for better advice.
