At the rate this is going I suspect its going to be Sunset helping twilight become a Alicorn because it seems like it Celesta is beginning to terrify little twilight bad enough Nightmare moon could likely swoop in, poach her right under their noses and make her own little Alicorn.

That bit at the end was quite a whiplash of emotions. Adorableness, soul-crushing feels, comedy, then back to feels. I swear you're gonna give me a heart attack.

Side note: The first story was rated T, and got pretty raunchy but never *quite* crossed the line. I see this one is rated M. I don't see a dark tag, so does that mean the trio's nighttime escapades are gonna be... a little more detailed? I just wanna know what to expect before I get to it

Nice to see the sequel of this story. Well I think Sunset damaging the future more an more to the point that really might compromise the resurgence of the Elements of Harmony and feeling Prince Luna from the nightmare or whatever. I hope Princess Twilight Sparkle will be in the seen soon. I wonder how Spike is ever going to ever get born if that doesn't pan out?

Firstly, love the fact there is a sequel so soon. Instant fave, hope to see ever more of this lovely Sunset.

On that ending... I wonder how will she react when she realizes she just saved AJ's parents. She knew the human one well enough to know her parents were dead, and is smart enough to deduce the same would apply to the pony one. Knowing her decision saved not only two lives, but also her friend from becoming an orphan? That's got to help with the guilty she suffers.

Celestia will most certainly be happy when Sunset tells her about it, at least.

Good to see the sequel already. I'll only read it when the trilogy is complete, now that I know that it is one, but I'm already looking forward to it. Also, in the description:

It'll be interesting to note how much 'destiny' allows big events to change. I have little doubt that Luna is still going to be reformed and the elements will probably be reactivated somehow, but it's still up in the air how much of the rest will stay the same. The element bearers themselves are still around in this story, and it wouldn't make much sense for them to show up if they weren't going to have some notable effect on the story, so my bet right now is that Twi and friends will still become the new bearers, but a lot of the other details won't stay.

Seeing that Starlight managed to change it repeatably and the Elements were apparently never awaken in all those time lines and that this story was based on that primes, I don't it would be easily possible to have same planed bearers at the same time that it was 'supposed' to happen and have then in the right mindset to become friends for it. If anything it sounds like the Elements are still very thickeled things and wouldn't open up to them even if they were put in a manufacture circumstances for them to have the same level friendship that they had. The fact the Sunset doesn't know that it was the rainboom that that created those bonds long before they ever met meant that it would be that much harder for it to happen.

In the end, while the Elements of Harmony will probably be awakened again in this timeline, I'm not sure how much of a difference it would make. After all, Sunset is basically wielding a second set all by herself, along with enough magic to wipe the floor with an empowered Tirek.

And awww frig, the implications here just hit me.
If Applejack's parents ain't dead, she won't feel the urge to go out, which means she won't have the same profound realization about where her true home is that led to her cutie mark. That doesn't have to mean she won't get it some other way, but, well...
Basically Sunset just did to Applejack with one well-timed faceplant what took her two weeks with Twilight: a general improvement of her situation whole completely derailing her from the path of the original timeline.

The Prime timeline is gone and it's cannon has already been smashed to pieces, but I don't think it'll stop the return of harmony.
Sunset's power is harmony, and due to it's orgins, deeply connected to the main 6.
We've also seen that her magic reacts when she meets the main 6 (a spark if you will) so even if Dash doesn't rainboom (and the time loop showed that the setup was still there) they are already connected through Sunset (she just has to meet Shy).

Also, this would be a clear example of making things BETTER post history change. Twilight may not have wings, but Applejack doesn't end up trying to run a farm on child labor after being traumatized by the gruesome death of her parents. Change isn't automatically bad, Sunset Shimmer.

“Not Princess Celestia!” Twilight exclaimed in terror, making Sunset lift her head in surprise. “I’ll-I’ll go! With you, and Princess Cadance. There’s um, no need to bother Princess Celestia.”

The oddity of Twilight’s reaction to seeing Celestia got a frown from Sunset, but she shrugged it off a moment later.

I really hope Sunset figures out what's going on here. I wanna see her reaction to Twilight's fear. Granted, this sequel is much...raunchier than the previous story, but I did stick around because how much fun it was to watch this crazy version of Cadance. Here's hoping that still happens here.

Really hope this one lasts as long as 'Sunset Reset'. To be honest I just found the previous one and couldn't reading... almost didn't get any sleep for work one day xD. Would like to see Celestia apologize to twilight for scaring her, that and Sunset hearing something about what happened... Would make everything kinda interesting around Canterlot. Sunset really needs to make Celestia understand that even when 'Princess' Twilight left her with human friends, she thought she was doing right. And besides the 'Anon-a-miss' incident, she really did love her human friends and they loved her, Sunset Reset, first chappy is proof :). I think she needs to understand Sunset could have come back IF she really wanted to, once the portal was opened with 'princess' twi's additional things setup for it... A lot of what happened to Sunset in the human world after Princess Twilight left helped form the 'new' Sunset that Celestia calls her daughter and needs to understand, if she didnt stay away that long, she might not have came out the way she is now. Celestia needs to understand Sunset's entire 'friendship is magic' lessons came from 'princess' twilight to begin with, and not the bad guy she's making her out to be. Sorry for long comment xD
