Ask Marble: What are you study field? And could you elaborate more on your current research?
Why are there two part 1’s
9036442 One is "Rolling In Pt1" and the other is "Rolling On Pt1". Gags about marbles rolling are cheap, I know, but I don't deploy them often!
Fascinating. Wish I could see those muscle connections for myself. Or possibly going deeper, but I doubt Dash would appreciate that. And there's the question of the magic capacitance of dead tissue; the wings might dissipate before any proper dissection could take place.
...
Look, I've wondered about the anatomy at work since the first movie, okay?
And on that note, Fluttershy, have you ever examined your, Rainbow's, or Twilight's wings from a biological/medical perspective?

I was referring to food choices in the military. Didn't you say Shining was Navy Signal Intelligence? Even in the military you get to choose what you want to eat at the dfac (cafeteria). It's been almost a year so my memory is a bit fuzzy but you were definitely asked your choice of eggs, meat, and starch at breakfast and entree, and sides at lunch. Complete with choice of chocolate milk or regular and electrolyte drinks. I have zero doubt they receive plenty of orders they follow with little choice. But food is definitely one place people have choice. Except mres. You eat the one you get. Or trade real quick. And after basic training you have even more choice about food usually.

I even can tell you exactly what I had for breakfast on August 21st. Scrambled eggs with biscuits and gravy with homefries. All mixed together. Because I chose that every day. Was tasty and quick.
Marble is doing research? They should start comparing notes once the connection is made!
9052092 She's a science geek.
I was wondering where/how Marble got infected. I was trying to figure out some convoluted, multi-step process about Marble being exposed to the river mud Rainbow's been infesting. Or some indirect interactions at the gym, which didn't make a lot of sense. But the mention of "strange worms" seems to answer that question. Though I do wonder where she got her samples, now.
Something else I'm wondering. MarbleShy? Flutters' voyeuristic tendencies might be a natural compliment for Marble's discomfort with physical interactions, which she seems to exhibit here. Especially if Bridget's influence on Shy helps her be more dominant. Plus, Marble asked Dash if she wanted her to reciprocate the...let's call it "good turn." (As in, one good turn deserves another, if I wasn't clear enough.) So maybe that would bode/fit well for/with Shy's "It's good to be the pet, sometimes" feelings.
Or maybe I'm just reading too much into this. It would be an interesting relationship dynamic to see explored, if it were to come true, though. Either way, enjoying the story so far.
9428031 It would be a cute angle. Fluttershy is much more out of her shell than she was even in Equestria Girls canon, thanks to Bridget here, but even that is much more sociable than Fluttershy in Equestria. The reason for this (that I work on) is school. You simply can't go through human school without at least building a defense to make socializing less traumatic. Marble, of course, hasn't experienced that.
Marble is quite the budding young scientist, though, and when she found a new species of worm in the river was quick to take some home to investigate them. One got free and investigated her. She was most interesting!

Well now, this will be an important clue. Marble probably knows about parasitic infections
