Four words and they are all true. SBPS follows the girls of Canterlot High after the events of Legend of Everfree, as they deal with graduation, maturation, and a parasite that just wants to cuddle their gray matter.

Ask human (currently pony?) Twilight: Do you want to conduct an experiment called Foursome? (especially when one is a human and another is her pony counterpart)
nice wor
Part of me would be interested in more mindscape shenanigans. I already can imagine Pinkie thinking up a sexy selfie in the mindscape, and just slipping it into one of the brain books when sunset is disracted. She'd be in for a surprise next time she tries to recall the recipe for homemade nachos or something
A friendly reminder that horses can spontaneously abort at will, which makes Pony Pinkie sound silly in a way you probably didn't intend.
9740373 Okay, and how does horses that can abort an unwanted pregnancy (yeah, I knew that one already) pertain to her as a human being able to do so?
For that matter, if we're going to imprint the biological abilities of horses onto ponies, then they could never talk.

There was a whole fic with the premise of using the portal as birth control. The relevant characters in this fic becoming more and more horsey doesn't exactly hurt, either...
9741015 While it's nice to use some horsey attributes for ponies, reproductive system can be a touchy one. I mean, given how mares go into season in real life, you'd expect every pony to have a birthday around the same few months. Stallions would probably live WELL away from town (since it's not females that go heat-crazy, it's males). And given how long the show's been running for, Twilight and co should have several foals.

Sapience is a hell of a drug, especially in that regard. Magic too, even when it isn't being portrayed as addictive or otherwise dangerous. For that matter, there's a statistically significant clustering of birthdates among humans caused by the same evolutionary pressures as the existence of heat.
Oh, and while we're on the topic, I use the fact that humans are born abnormally early in our development to waive the two months of difference in gestation period. (Most mammals can walk as soon as they get out of the womb because they're old enough to do so by the time they get around to leaving. That isn't an option for humans because our proportionally gigantic brains make things hard enough as it is)
Oh, and a good portion of this story is the characters discussing stuff like this, so there's that in my favor.
