Celestia is badass. 100%, 1000% even. Badass.
Dim's Lung Butter:
Take one part Bloody Phlegm, and fold in seven parts Essence of Grogar.
Substitute in any recipe calling for butter to induce Nightmares.
Bro, that's not even how rats work.

That's how MAGIC infused rats work.

That's the (attempted) joke. I am bad at humor.
I get it!

It works because he fell into a dark dimension.

What's more badass is Cadence... because she didn't have Celestia's momentum. She didn't have her aunt's sheer, brute force.
She dove anyways.
hey kudz: what the fuck does your description even mean, dog?

Woof. Woof?
Arf!

It means a lot of things, actually. But those are left for the reader to determine.
This, if you take a few minutes to read it and piece it together, is a reference to the first story.
To wit:
It is a continuance that rather requires (implies, suggests, etc) that the reader have some familiarisation as to what is going on. It speaks directly to the reader that is continuing this story from the first one, and is provocative to the reader who hasn't. This is a story about Moral Combat. (Cue the techno drum loop)
It applies Hegelian concepts to fiction, as well as other blunt-force philosophy.
I think I might know which love Dim represents. Paternal love is what I'm thinking right now.
Damn just... wow. This was deep, no pun intended, and I think I might have to reread it to truely comment.
If nothing else you never fail to amaze me Kudzuhiku.
Is that a confession to Bombays death?
I really thought that alone would have caused a reaction.

Dim was not in a good space to put two and two together.
Also, I wanted an open door. I didn't wish to confirm or deny anything. It is for the reader to decide what happened, if something happened.
But, I can say, one has to examine the night as a whole, starting with dinner. Every time that Darling arrives uninvited, something happens. It means that something incredibly powerful has the reach to manipulate Dim. From here, we can make all manner of logical extrapolations.
The reader will conclude whatever they wish.
Grogar's threat combined with stories that take place long after this one in the story line tell me to not get attached to anyone but Blackbird.
Cause they allllllll gonna die.
There is a lot to digest here, but i LOVE that Dim's Weakness was made into his Strength. That Dim managed to overpower Grogar so badly.
That was just so intense. I feel anything else I add to this comment will just take away from it.
Oh hi Nurgle.
Whew. I thought the story was already intense.
Excellent chapter, bravo encore encore. So I guess Dim just ascended to the next level. Still love how you write Cadance.
