Technically alicorns aren't a species, in fact they are a subspecies of ponies and thus can theoretically be birthed by any normal pony.

I don't thick it is a bad idea, but it may been rush and the story have some moment of shit happens one moment and then only after some second they forget it.

The sheer rage of the act will cause Shining Armor to mutate into the alicorn of vengeance and proceed to obliterate the sisters and their lackeys. Just a silly story idea. Not to mention what Fluttershy will tell Discord to do. Kindness has limits.

Please continue the story!
