I have to admit At this point Serenade seems so powerful I am not sure how she could possibly be even fought much less defeated short of some sort of crossover character like Precrisis superman fighting her or her being stupid enough to pick a fight with Darkseid or some other major god.

I agree. I suspect that Twilight is after the portal mirror, and is hoping to either trick or lure Serenade to the human world, where she can be hit by several trucks before be learning to use magic there too.
The alternative is to flee to the human world in order to recover.
Meanwhile, Serenade's reading the evil overlord list and avoiding making those mistakes.
I suspect that the Elements/Rainbow Power are also off the table due to Serenade's mind screw of Applejack.

It would be amusing if Serenade crossed over and was hit by a truck the moment she walks into the street. :D

I propose a series of unfortunate events a la the Coyote of Warner Brothers fame.
Truck, land on picket fence points to posterior,
fall off fence, jump back over fence because dog bites her in the butt, run in pain, truck going other way, land in dumpster, sit up only to have dumpster lid close on head/fingers, dumpster starts rolling down the convenient hill, opens dumpster just to panic at a near miss with streetcar at base of the hill, relieved look switches back to panic as dumpster shoots out on to dock and into the water, where she learns humans can't breathe water, surfacing only to be hit by Gladys the Surfboard, getting tangled up with Zephyr Breeze, who hits on her all the way to the shore, where she meets the Main Seven who light her up with their rainbow laser because Twilight magic booked Sunset and Starlight came across the portal to identify Serenade so they rainbow laser Serenade instead of some background character.
Then Serenade finds out that since Zephyr Breeze was also in the blast radius, she is gonna have to actually date him.
I mildly dislike Serenade.

I think Sunset borrowed Aria' earmuffs in that one short. They fit Aria's color scheme better as well as the spikes commo to all of the sirens.
*squints eyes* Applejack's brainwashed, isnt she?

ah, ok. *puts bible and holy water away* I never get to use these
I have to say, at this point act 5 is the weakest part of the story. I have never been that interested in the Equestria's part of the portal, since I believe the major strengths of this story are on Sunset's side.
You have gone to great lengths to make Serenade a dangerous threat. But I feel like you've taken it too far. As a result, her character is very boring. She is the super powerful villain who steamrolls over the opposition. Nothing the heroes do can slow her down. This is a concept that has been done over a thousand times and often gives us the shallowest villains. Her reason for disliking mortals, while somewhat understandable, is blown way out of proportion. Every second sentence out of her mouth is "mortals deserve to die" or something along those lines. Take that away from her and she has nothing left.
I understand, that she is supposed to to represent a character that's been consumed by thirst for vengeance, but at this point, it feels silly. Her character requires complexity.
While I don't know how she will be defeated (though I will read on to find out), I do hope it will not be after she goes head to head against super-powered Twilight in an epic duel. You risk having to deal with insane levels of power creep. After all, once Twilight has deal with that kind of a threat, who, or what, can pose a threat to her? If it spirals out of control, eventually you have characters who can destroy universes with a mere sneeze.
Anyway, back on topic. Serenade's character is in desperate need of additional depth. At the moment, she is a one-dimensional character who always wins without experiencing any setbacks. It makes it impossible to relate to her, which means, it is hard to feel anything for her. At this point, I just want this arc to be over.
Another thing I have to point out in these two chapters is that they're all over the place. You have this, potentially epic ultimate duel between Twilight and Serenade, where the fate of Equestria is decided and you throw in the birth of Sunset's and Sci-Twi's daughter. You went from, pretty much one end of the emotional spectrum to the other in too short of a timespan. Events like this should have some filler in between. You try to invoke the excitement that comes from seeing an epic fight and immediately counter it with cuteness and wonder of Sunset holding her child. Such different emotions do not mix well together. They work against each other and as a result, you're left with a mediocre mess of "meh". There is a time for an epic duel and there is a time for the beginning of a new family.
