Hmm. So Sunsets twin is also a scientist. Very fitting now that I think about it. Minus the running away part Sunsets upbringing and interests were pretty much the same was Twilights. Seems appropriate that this would remain consistent with their twins.
Nice picture by the way. Figures that Sunset would be the Hot Scientist type to contrast Twilights Nerdy Scientist type.
I wonder if this Sunset will have the same kind of parallelism with her pony counterpart as Twilight did; in the latter's case, she came from a prodigious school (Crystal Prep, vs Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns), has a partner of a different species named Spike (dog, vs dragon) of which she is very close to, leaves her original neighbourhood for an important reason (wherever Crystal Prep is and in order to participate in the Friendship Games, vs Canterlot in order to 'check up on Summer Sun Celebration preparations'), made her first real friends in this new area, encountered a very magically-powerful negative force bent on destruction (becoming possessed herself, vs facing off against such a being), and encountering the Elements of Harmony in some form (the girls, vs the stones).
Of course, there's a few different things that don't have cross-dimensional counterparts (pony-Twilight skipping a party she was invited to, human-Twilight being "mentored" by Abacus Cinch), but there's definitely some origin relapse happening between the two.
I wonder if the same will be true for this human Sunset...maybe a falling-out with a previous instructor?
I believe there's a missing word there.
Also, this bit is worded oddly.
"As" should be capitalized.
Need a comma after "time".
Interesting start. Rather coincidental that Sunset's counterpart also happens to be a scientist. Though I suppose it makes sense. Both students of Celestia and their counterparts end up being scientists. Looking forward to the rest.
Before I get into this, what romance ships are here?

Don't want to spoil it for anyone since many of the ships that are supposed to happen have not happened yet, but to be frank: the story isn't really about the shipping, though it plays a role. I can say that since it's already appeared that Rarijack is a thing later.
That's not how the scientific process works, and that would be a hypothesis instead of a theory.
Loving it already. Great start!!
Ok, I can already see this could be an interesting read and since I love long stories, something with 850000+ words, still running, sounds enticing, to say the least.
